“The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. “The property is a 5-6 minute walk to downtown so easy access to shops, bars and restaurants. This includes Maya Walk so getting there for caving and ruins tours was easy. Far enough away to avoid the noise. Host was responsive. It was a little confusing to get the TV to work so i could watch the Super Bowl but we eventually got there. No regrets. ”

“We stayed over the Christmas holiday. The view and property are lovely and location met our needs. Clean drinking water was provided and the wifi and TV worked well. When we arrived the pool featured in the listing was empty and non-functional which was disappointing since it was a key factor in our choice. The stove did not work and did not appear to have gas.
