“First let me say I have NEVER EVER given a one star review before. All we expected was a clean comfortable room. Our stay was for a Friday evening. Pros: Perfect location, walking distance to everything in the centre of Bracebridge. Room 116 was at the back of the motel, so away from the road noise. Cons: The first thing that "hit" you was the odour in the room. It smelled like stale smoke, despite the fact that it was a non-smoking room. The room was very dated, but it was the bathroom,……

“It was a nice visit but not likely to return. Too many geese and poop even though staff worked hard to keep it raked. Restaurant dinner food was very good.”

“The cottage we got was not the one shown in the pictures. The main door had a broken glass, replaced with plywood. The kitchen had pots and pans, but nothing to cook on (only a microwave). Also, knobs on drawers kept falling off which made accessing kitchen utensils and dishes difficult. The bed was comfy, but the only other place to sit was a small outdoor bistro table set with 2 chairs. Not comfortable. The shower has a leak (a constant drip) and the bathroom faucet needs a good scrub. The……
