Great pool
1st time here and 7 of us in total + 2 dogs. Good location walking distance from supermarket and boulongerie. Great covered veranda to sit and eat under. Best pool we’ve ever had for cleanliness. Good sized downstairs bedroom. Doubles upstairs but smaller. House was well equipped for glasses and kitchen equipment. Lots of bity thing’s outside but that’s normal for south of France.

A quaint french country get-away
The villa is secluded with almost complete privacy and a substantial amount of surrounding land. Despite the close proximity of the Haribo factory, the surrounding trees and vegetation do an excellent job of giving you the impression that civilisation is a long way off as the factory can neither be seen or heard. The villa itself was very clean with everything you could need. A modern and well equipped kitchen housed a large fridge/freezer with ice machine. Parts of the villa have been modernised (downstairs areas), with other parts fairly basic. The pool is smaller than appears in the pictures (they always are!) but was more than adequate for our two families. The wifi and internet always worked and even allowed one of us to participate in a works video conference call for over an hour with no connectivity issues. The only down side was the constant attack of mosquitos and other biting insects. Although I 've been to many tropical countries and holidayed in the South of France a number of times, this was the worst I've experienced. None of the local bought repellents seemed to work. The owners were very welcoming and through our pigeon French and their broken English, easily managed to explain everything we needed to know when we arrived. The location of the villa is secluded with many other neighbouring and similarly secluded villas. It is a 10 minute walk to the nearby supermarket and other outlets, but the main town of Uzes is a 5 minute drive, and too far to walk. Uzes is a traditional and fashionable (and at times expensive) town, with lots happening and many good restaurants. Well worth a number of visits. The locals are very friendly with many speaking English. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Nous avons passé un super séjour bien trop court. La maison est super agréable, très bien équipée. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et du jardin -un vrai havre de paix-. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et de bons conseils sur les activités du coin. Nous reviendrons très certainement prochainement et nous ne pouvons que conseiller cette location. Maison parfaite pour ce reposer. Aucun vis-à-vis et très calme. Très belle piscine et très beaux extérieurs. Escalier un peu raide pour accéder à l’étage mais à part ça la maison est très bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Nous y avons passé une tres belle semaine. 👍😜

Das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet und in einem guten Zustand und liegt auf einem wunderschönen Grundstück. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nette Leute. Ein mal wöchentlich wird der Pool gereinigt. Angenehm war, dass keine weitere Kosten für Energie usw. anfielen. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Empfehlenswert!!

Oase der Ruhe / Oasis de calme
Das Haus ist eine Oase der Ruhe. Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm und in Sachen Hausausstattung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge (Nimes, Avignon, Les Beaux, Gardon-Schlucht und viele andere) ist der Standort des Hauses mehr als nur geeignet. Das Besitzer-Ehepaar hat uns sehr nett empfangen und die Übergabe des Hauses für 2 Wochen war sehr unkompliziert. Wir haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen und sehen vor wieder zukommen. Christine Güdel & Walter Steiner, Bern / Schweiz La maison est un havre de paix. Notre séjour a été très agréable et en ce qui concerne l'équipement de la maison, rien n'a manqué. En tant que point de départ pour des excursions (Nîmes, Avignon, Les Beaux, les gorges du Gardon et bien d'autres), l'emplacement de la maison est plus qu'approprié. Le couple de propriétaires nous a très bien accueillis et la remise de la maison pour 2 semaines s'est faite très facilement. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces deux semaines et prévoyons de revenir. Nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux. Les propriétaires étaient toujours à l'écoute. Nous avons adoré nos après midi à la piscine, le terrain de pétanque éclairé la nuit et nos belles soirées barbecue sur la terrasse. Une belle semaine entre amis à quelques minutes du centre d'Uzes en voiture.

Zeer nette, complete vakantiewoning gelegen in het groen.
Alles zeer net , compleet uitgerust en rustig gelegen. Airco is een zeer groot pluspunt. Voor de rest een goede en snelle service van de eigenaars (een korte onderbreking vh internet was direct gemaakt). Aanrader voor een ontspannen zwembadvakantie in een zeer mooie streek.

Si vous désirez de la tranquillité en famille ou entre amis, à 2 pas de la charmante ville d’Uzès, n’hésitez pas! Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et n’ont pas hésité à nous prêter du matériel pour le bébé (chaise haute, parc, barrière de protection).
