"The house was perfect for my wife and I as well as Deuce, our dog. Right on the creek where I caught a trout on my first cast. Loved listening to the water in the morning as I drank my coffee, excellent local coffee by the way. Great location for Boone and Blowing Rock. Just don’t take Jake’s Mountain Road, didn’t see the note beforehand. Will come back in the fall!!"

"The property was great. The kids stayed in the loft and the adults all had their own room in the main living space. The kitchen and house were well equipped. We loved the proximity to Blowing Rock and Boone. The kids especially loved walking down to check out the goats in the neighboring farm. Thanks for being great hosts."

"This cabin shows all the signs of being well loved. Everything guests could need has been anticipated, from a tea kettle to toilet paper. Comfortable, cozy, and spotlessly clean describes the place. Our dog even loved the lion statues out front. Last winter was especially hard on our family. We had to cancel once due to health problems, and the owner graciously helped us rearrange our plans. The opportunity to enjoy some quiet time in a charming cabin was just what we needed."

The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. "Stayed at this beautiful cabin with my family for a week. Had a blast! There was a couple small issues but the owners were all over it and had it fixed same day. We were a little too early for the fish but enjoyed the creek everyday. Overall a great experience."
