Booked a 2 bed 'residence', or s/c apartment, here for it's proximity to the ski slopes and lifts, and we weren't disappointed.
The 2 bed apartment was spacious, if a little dated, with an en-suite and a separate bathroom with shower, a lounge/diner and kitchen area plus a good selection of provided pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. We also had a balcony that looked out to the slopes and lifts, with just enough room to get a couple of chairs on to. The TV was almost a museum piece, and was even screwed on to its mounting! Quite who they think is going to try and nick something as out of date as this, is beyond us.
As we dined out at the local restaurants every night, we can't comment on the hotel restaurant or bar, but did use the 'leisure club' and it was fine, although 9 Euros per 'day' when it's only open from 3pm until 7pm is a bit cheeky.
There is a supermarket and ski rental shop in the hotel courtyard, and the ski pass office is right next to the hotel too, so nearly everything you might need is handy.
Overall? Recommended, and will stay there again when we go to La Thuile next time.
