Small, charming B&B
My husband & I spent 5 days at Rancho El Parral. As mentioned before – there are ONLY 4 rooms. It used to be the charming home of the owner’s family. It is definitely in the style of a B&B. There is always work being done to improve the grounds. I was told there are plans to build a chapel in the near future. There is a restaurant within steps of El Parral, along with a winery – both are very good. This is not a new house, therefore some issues may arise. We had a toilet overflow & the water will splash if you are the first to use it. They always have workers around so issues that arise will be solved. Doña Elena, outdoes herself with the accommodations & hospitality. Breakfast, included & prepared by Doña Elena, consisted of coffee, juice, fresh fruit, toast with selection of jams & a main dish. Alternating days, we were served Huevos Rancheros, Bistec, Omelet & Chilaquiles. There is no pool or TV in the rooms & they are quite cold. There is one TV in the common area with a fireplace & small portable heaters are available. The owners along with the staff are all wonderful people. If you are looking for a place to recharge & unwind – this is the place for you. There are other wineries within driving distance & the town of Ensenada is bit over ½ hour away. FYI - most of the roads of Valle de Guadalupe are riddled with potholes - be prepared to drive slowly & carefully.

Quaint renovated ranch on a beautiful property.
My wife & I did a quick get-away to VDG (we go a few times each year) and chose Rancho El Parral. It is a cute / quaint old ranch that has been semi-renovated to be a B&B. The location is great and the grounds around the ranch are beautiful. The ranch and rooms themselves are nice but a bit rustic. The service is great and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the stay, the staff was very attentive. The winery and restaurant are within walking distance and we could walk around the lavander field and take pictures. I liked how clean and private the place is. The confortable beds and dining room was my favorite part. We had breakfast included which was delicious. I would certainly recommend

The property was nice and quiet, for the most part. Walls are thin and you can hear the other renters conversations and bathroom duties. The staff was super friendly. Great breakfasts. The Ranch was super clean inside and out. Adding a TV to the rooms would be great.

This property is so beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The house itself carries a lot of history with it being a part of the Rondo del Parral Winery. There is a view of lavender and also the grapevines. Breakfast in the morning at Rancho el Parral was very delicious. The lady’s who cooked were very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your time. The winery was very beautiful at well. My family and I got a tour with Alberto. He made sure to give us all the info we needed to learn about the process of how to make wine as well as tasting a couple. Overall, my experience was perfect! Thank you Alejandra for everything!

Stay was great, service sucked!
When we arrived there wasn’t anyone to greet us. We kept calling the phone number listed and finally someone answered and came to the property. There was another couple also waiting to check in. Later that night we had went out for dinner and when we returned the gate was locked. We had to call the hostess again and she gave us the code for the lock so we can open the gate. This should’ve been told upon our arrival instead of trying to get in at 10pm at night.

Everytime I go to El Valle de Guadalupe I stay here. Beds are comfortable, surroundings are clean and pretty and nice, relaxing walking trails. The living room where the TV is is very comfortable to watch movies or play board games. Breakfast is very good and the restaurant nearby is delicious but a bit noisy. The children playground does need some maintenance since it is clunky and looking like it will come apart at any second.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ranch El Parral! Our home away from home…Elizabeth was extremely attentive and warm, cooked our delicious Mexican style breakfast! Made recommendations to take advantage of our beautiful Mexican Style hacienda. Yes property might be in need of a little tlc, however the charm, style and warmth of the property makes up for it. We enjoyed our breakfast in the outside patio overlooking the vineyards made us feel we were in a hacienda or a telenovela! We loved our family stay, and our pre-teens loved this truly Mexican visit experience. We highly recommend!

Lovely wine country stay
Stayed at Rancho el Parral for one night and pleasantly surprised! The place has a great location. Place was cozy, friendly. Beds were comfortable, lovely patio for breakfast under shady trees and with a view of vineyards. They used lavender products from their fields, AC works. Only little issue was no hot water in our bathroom but not a big deal considering it was already 75 degrees at 9 am. Breakfast was our favorita part. We took a walk through the gardens, lavender fields, and saw their beautiful peacock. The place is next to a restaurant and king and queens! Breakfast was coffee eggs fruit coffe and toast. It was perfect to start our day. Everyone was friendly I would come back

A cozy and small B&B. Impress with the detail. Property near lavender field. All products the property uses has lavender, pretty nice smelling! Rooms are not soundproof unfortunately. Breakfast was delicious and served al fresco! Mostly egg dishes. Best part was the Steam Room, private. My husband and I enjoyed and had the stress melt with the heat!

Like it. Good location, but recommend going with friends not a couples retreat. It’s like you are staying at a family members house. I think it depends on your luck for roommates. We had 1 really good one and 1 really bad one... so hence the review. There is no privacy. So good with friends only. The lady that helps live on the property and is super nice. She was on point helping out.

This place is amazing! The rooms were so clean, there was so much space, and it is walking distance to Kings & Queens (must visit restaurant). The breakfast was BEYOND delicious-- authentic Mexican food with the most kind service. Thank you so so much, I will be staying again. 10/10 recommend!

LOVED IT!! Rustic and Charming!!
LOVED Rancho el Parral! This is our fourth time coming to Valle de Guadalupe--and this has been our favorite place we stayed. The ranch house was rustic and welcoming, with all the amenities we needed to stay in comfort. It was very nice to have lovely garden to walk through, DELICIOUS breakfast included, and a winery/restaurant (Rondo) in walking distance. The location was great (towards the Western side of the Valle, with great wineries close by--and as mentioned Rondo in walking distance). The staff were sooo helpful and attentive, very gracious and friendly. The home was quiet and often felt like we had a whole rancho home to ourselves. LOVE IT HERE!! They have four rooms, so this would be a great place to go if you had a larger group and wanted to stay together and have a shared common space together--it would really feel like renting out a whole home, but with all the comforts of a bed and breakfast.

Service was great. The Staff extremely attentive. Beautiful hacienda style accommodations. You are walking distance to Rondo del Valle a marvelous winery. Great choice if you are visiting Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California's wine country.

A hotel to feel like home
Stay was excellent, from sanitizing controls from reception to the cleaning procedures. Also area has at very short distance several places to visit several wineries as well as to new places to eat. Also the breakfast that is included is absolutely fantastic.I recommend it for couples which like a nice quite place yet with the comfortable setting. I was able to do some nice stargazing too.

Family owned winery with charm and character.
This place has an amazing atmosphere. Beautiful, tranquil, with a lot of character. I was really impressed. The winery is also very nice. The morning breakfast out on the patio is very relaxing and enjoyable. . Loved the steam room. The whole place had a calming effect

This property is very unique because it really isn't a hotel at all. I was expecting something very different but this isn't a bad thing. This rancho is a bed and breakfast. Its somebody's home which they rent rooms out for the night. The drive way which they sell on the pictures is closed to the public and you have to drive up a dirt road and park on a dirt lot. Its baja california and that's definitely expected to drive on a lot of dirt roads. No tv in the room or mini fridge. They had a couple of heaters in the room that did not work properly. This property is next door to king and queen cantina and has a nice walkway connecting the two properties. The check in area is the ranchos living room and be ready to share the living room with other people if you want to watch tv. Other than these little surprises the place was very clean and has nice views of their vineyard.
