Lovely Villa
Accommodation is excellent, lovely to be met by the host who did an essential shop for us as we were arriving late. Airy rooms with air conditioning. The pool is great for a dip after a day sightseeing in Porto. The steps into the pool were very slippery and wobbly so care is needed entering and exiting the pool. It would benefit from a couple more sun loungers as there were only two. We did struggle to sleep as the neighbouring dogs barked through the night. Ubers are a great way of getting around. Best to avoid work rush hour at either end of the day if heading to Porto. We had a lovely city break with the bonus of our own private space and pool. We did come home tired due to lack of sleep caused by the barking dogs!!!!

Great value
3 couples in our 50s stayed here for 3 nights in early September. The owner’s daughter met us to let us in (maybe because parents didn’t speak English?) and show us around the property. Unfortunately the washer had just recently stopped working and they couldn’t get it repaired during our stay. She was very apologetic and told us where laundromat was. Other than that, the home was spacious and very clean. This home is on a residential street and not in a tourist area but was a short walk to the train station to get into Porto. Mall with a grocery store also within walking distance. Note: the third bathroom is in a separate pool change area/games room and not in the house. Overall, a very good stay.

Lovely home close to groceries/shopping. Handy to the train station or easy Uber to Porto. Super friendly host Teresa and her brother Mario were completely available when needed. House was spotless as was the yard and pool. Neighbours dogs bark occasionally. We would definitely return if in the area.

Awesome house for group of 6.
Very well set up with 4 toilets and three showers. Kitchen worked well too. Major mall and groceries within walking distance and good access to highway. Super great time for us.

Great Holiday Home for Adults
Beautiful home, with all the cooking and BBQ necessities provided. Very clean. Sleeps 6 adults very comfortably and plenty of bathrooms. Lots of space, even an office! you can dine indoors or outdoors. Close driving distance to Porto and Douro Valley. Large grocery store only 5 minutes away. Host Teresia is very nice. Negatives: dogs barking in neighborhood can be annoying.

The house is quiet and very relaxing. Highly recommend Toccante for dinner. 2 large grocery stores quite close by. Paulo was very available. He waited patiently for us to arrive, even tough we got there later in the evening.

A week away with family
We had a lovely stay at the property. Communication was excellent, Theresa answered emails very quickly with any queries before we went. Paulo met us at the property and made us feel right at home - he was on hand during the stay to answer any questions we had and was incredibly helpful with suggestions and things we had not thought of. The house was immaculate and well resourced (our party included a 1 year old to a 70 year old). It did include a cot and a high chair. The only thing missing from the property was a bath but the showers were good! The garden and outside rooms are a great space and are bigger than they look on the photos. We didn't have a car but it would be helpful to have one. A big supermarket is only 10 minutes walk away, which was too short for many Ubers to want to pick us up with our shopping. The train station is a similar distance and has a great service to Porto. Valongo itself is about a 20-minute walk. We would happily stay there again, and would happily recommend it to friends.

This is a lovely villa tucked away in the Porto suburb of Valongo
This is a lovely villa tucked away in the Porto suburb of Valongo, with convenient access on foot to the train station and large supermarket. The salt water pool is fantastic and our only recommendation to the owners would be to get some cushions for the loungers and outdoor furniture, as without they were rather uncomfortable; plus some additional pool towels would be really useful. Paulo was on hand when we arrived and went out of his way to show us around the villa and local area by car before he left, which was incredibly kind and useful. The welcome pack of food and drink essentials was also much appreciated after our delayed arrival time. We consider ourselves quite fussy when it comes to holiday rentals, and overall we had a great time in the villa and had no complaints!

One of the Best Ever
We have stayed in many rentals throughout Europe and North America and I can state unequivocally that this home was one of the nicest ever. It was spacious, well-equipped, and immaculately clean. We loved the swimming pool and walled courtyard. Everything worked as it was supposed to. Our host, Paulo, was extremely friendly and even drove us around the town to get us acclimated to the area. The home is very close to a wonderful supermarket/mall area and a short walk to the Suzao train station for easy access to Porto. I would recommend this home to anyone interested in visiting the Northern Portugal area.

This is the best villa we have ever stayed in - very well equipped, spacious and in a convenient location for Porto, Douro Valley, Braga, Guimarães etc. Paulo, the owner, was incredibly helpful in showing us the location of supermarket, restaurants and railway station as well as thoughtfully providing some essential supplies on arrival and delicious Pastel del Nata on departure. Six adults stayed very comfortably for a week. The location is within walking distance to grocery shopping and downtown area for shops and restaurants and the train. Paulo went out of his way to show us around and had basic necessities ready for us.

Our family had the most wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. Paulo could not have been more helpful and welcoming despite us arriving quite late. The villa is exactly as described, it has every possible convenience you might require, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. Outdoor pool area with barbeque and lots of seating was great . If you are looking for luxury accommodation with an authentic Portuguese experience and close to beaches, shopping, city of Porto , this is definitely the place to stay. Great host and villa
Paulo accommodated an early check-in, welcomed us with beers, wine, soft drinks, water and fresh pastel de nata's and took the time to show us the villa in detail as well as driving us around the local amenities and restaurants, including a short-cut to the train station and his wife's lovely coffee shop which we used one morning which I would highly recommend. Location is great for access to Porto and not far from the airport either. All as described. Thanks again.

My husband and myself were joined by our 2 adult children over a 12 day stay in this beautifully appointed villa. Initially we hired a car to visit the area around Porto, but latterly we found ourselves just relaxing around the pool with a book. The villa is self contained And spacious and it was ideal for the type of down-time holiday we Needed, just lounging around and catching up with kids and their friends. Paolo our genial and charming host was ever solicitous, checking that we lacked for nothing. He arrived with welcome gifts of wine and pastries, and made restaurant reservations, as well as dropping us off and picking us up after lunch on the day of our arrival. Our host Paolo made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He pointed out all of the good places to visit in Porto and Gaia so we had plenty to do. The house is in very close proximity to a shopping mall/supermarket (5-10 minute walk) which is useful. Overall a great place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful vacation.
Our stay in Valongo in this beautiful house was extraordinary. To begin with Paulo greeting us with à bottle of Mateus and showing us where the grocery store and where an excellent Restaurant Estica de Brasso was. One morning our car did' nt start and Paulo came over and helped us in no Time. What à nice man! This beautiful luxury Villa has everyting you need. This villa plus Paulo made our vacation unforgettable. I stongly recommend this place.
