I checked in at the hotel on May 10 around 9:30 pm, the room was on the second floor in the Provincial Towner. The first room was smelly and old, had no shower curtain and the facial washcloth was dirty green stuff mixed with some human hair. I called the front desk to give me another room. The second room was in British Towner. The second was in much better condition than the first room at least cleaner but it still had a few things either missing or broken, like a missing towel rack, the pug in the tub wasn't working, and the closet door was broken. The worst experience overall was when I was checking out the next morning, I told the staff at the front desk about my room B361, she didn't apologize for anything and her tone sounded like it was my fault for not reporting earlier when I got the room. I told her it was late and I had changed rooms already. I didn't want to keep changing rooms for the third time. I believe keeping the rooms clean and well-maintained isn't my job because I paid for them. It is the hotel's job to ensure all their rooms align with what they show on Expedia's website. It was a very unpleasant exprience.

Our room had dirty bedding that we waited 2hrs to be replaced (had to call twice), a broken heater that they couldn’t fix, not enough towels for the 4 staying in the room (had to call twice) and the pool area was filthy with dirt all over the floor (maybe a plant knocked down?) and an overflowing stack of dirty pool towels that looked like they’d been there for days. I went to the desk and asked for pool towels but an hour later they still weren’t replaced. The only positive of this hotel was that the kids had fun on the waterslide.

Quiet, clean property. It is out if the way tho. Not really walkable. Only a couple of restaurant options. If you have a car you sre set tho.

The property has good variety of room selections. Access is convenient of major cross streets and close close to YVR airport in Richmond. Room and bedding were comfortable. Housekeeping was very responsive to requests. Bathroom configuration is a little different with toilet right by the door. The indoor pool and waterslide was fun, wonderful for families traveling with children. The indoor swimming pool is too small for swimming because half of it is roped off for waterslide. Swimmable portion is about 6m long. The water temperature in the hot tub was warm, insufficiently hot. The interior hallways were a bit challenging to navigate. The Starbucks coffee counter was closed throughout our stay. Would have been a nice to have it available. In room coffee tasted generic. Staff were friendly and courteous; could use a couple more to reduce wait time at check-in/check out.

I requested a room near the elevator but instead she put me on the ground floor with many outside entrances. The room was very, very far from the entrance. Difficult to communicate with agent.

There were several air crew staff checking in at the time I arrived and a couple of regular check-ins. There was only one staff member that seemed to be working, another staff member was at the desk area but provided no service. Frustrating check-in time.

The room is facing the main highway. It’s noisy at night. The shower keeps watching a bit even closed. The swimming pool is so tiny and the heating pool is closed. Overall, needs a lot of improvement. Thanks.

I like that this property has a Starbucks, Chop and Denny's attached. This is a great option for an overnight stay for those traveling out of Vancouver International Airport. With the many outdoor pool areas, it would also be a nice retreat during hot summer days.

The front desk person seemed inexperienced and was not friendly. Bordered on rude. Meanwhile, the other front desk person stepped in and deescalated the situation

Quiet stay. Comfortable beds. Roomy rooms. Friendly, proactive staff. Good idea for room light bulbs and safety deposit box batteries to be regularly checked and replaced before customers discover them and need to call maintenance for replacements.

Property is in need of a refresh carpets are old, curtains don’t fit windows. Desperately need better cleaning staff. Internet was so slow we gave up. Very disappointing for a Sandman Signature. Night staff were not helpful to an elderly couple that couldn’t speak English they would have never reached their room if we hadn’t helped them.
