Very nice building and room. Bed had a plastic/rubber liner that was uncomfortable and made you sweat, unpleasant. Not much nearby, ate at the courtyard Marriott. No staff after 7pm in hotel. Staff were friendly, breakfast looked basic but ok. Coffee and water always available. Was a 25 minute walk from airport. I took a taxi to go back and cost was very high, €18 for a 5 minute drive.

This B&B is conveniently located within a 5 minute walk to Verona Porta Nuova train station and within a 10/15min walk to Piazza Bra (where you’ll find Juliet’s balcony, Verona arena etc). A quick note, if you prefer a private bathroom make sure that is the selection you picked before booking or call in advance to confirm.

Great breakfast
When we arrived we buzzed the gate to be let in, a young girl came to let us in through the gate and showed us some of the sights we had to see while in Verona. We left our things in the room before we ventured off and to our surprise we didn’t realize it’s a shared bathroom for the two bedrooms downstairs. I was a bit nervous since I’ve never had to do that before but it was very clean and safe with a lock on the door. We walked to the city center of Verona it’s about a 10-15 min walk which we didn’t mind, overall the location was great. We saw all we had to see within that day and enjoyed a nice pizza within the city center and did some shopping. Aside from that the breakfast at the hotel was delicious, the softest crescents I’ve ever had and the staff was very welcoming and kind. The room was clean and air conditioned which in the middle of summer is a gift which we very much appreciated.

The place is perfectly pleasant and clean. It’s near the train station. It’s very reasonably priced. The only drawback is the location. It’s slightly outside the historic center of the city.

The staff at this B&B are extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are large and immaculate with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was convenient and delicious! This location is only a 15-minute walk to the Arena di Verona and very close to the train station. I would highly recommend this property!

Conveniently located near the train station and a short walk into town. I felt safe in the neighborhood and very welcomed when I arrived. I only stayed one night because I was passing through Verona, so it was perfect for me.

Straightforward and clean.
I was late (after check-in) but the team sent me the codes and instructions to do this by myself. I was in the room just to sleep for one night but all of the facilities were clean and the room was very affordable. No complaints at all.

Wonderful B&B in a breathtaking city
We loved our stay at Magnolia! Location was very convenient and the mother daughter duo are fantastic! They are friends, hospitable and sweet! The room was super clean and the water pressure is amazing! I would recommend Magnolia to anyone and everyone!

The place is close to the train terminal and easy to find it. The host is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and make me full. If you ok there are trains passing by. To me is ok. But the WiFi is a bit week, can't receive the signal in my room. I have to go to the kitchen then ok. Other then that are very fantastic.

Lessons to learn from Magnolia
B&B Magnolia does not have all the pictures of the rooms uploaded on the site so you might be in for a surprise when you are guided up to the attic and find that the room does not look like on the pictures when you made the booking. Also, please note that if you are a light sleeper, there is quite a busy train traffic happening in the back yard of the B&B, so I would suggest you to consider other options for the same budget. Plus, someone was smoking somewhere in that house. As for me, it felt weird and a bit creepy as a female solo traveller, arriving in the dark to an possibly empty house,not knowing if there is anyone else staying there. Also, there is no staff at night in the house, in case anything happens. So I learn my lesson, to choose a place to stay a bit more wisely next time.

Excellent value with an excellent breakfast.
Good value for money and not too far from the main attractions plus very handy for the train station. Rooms were a good size and the clean bathroom was just across the hall. Very good breakfast for the price and the staff couldnt have been more helpful. Would recommend it.

The owner is friendly and accommodating. The house is interestinf and well decorated. Just beware that air conditioning means that a wall mounted appliance that blow but does not actually cool the air.

The staff was very friendly and were very helpful in many ways. The B & B was located five minute walk to the Central train station. About 15 minute walk to the City Center and the Arena. They also have very nice outside sitting areas around the property. I would definitely recommend this B & B.

This was a great place to stay. It's more of an b and b situations so you have to schedule check in privately. But Martina was friendly and evrything ran smoothly. We didn't get heat and hot water in the evening until we had to call the owner and he came and fixed it right away. The room and bathroom where clean and well decorated. Had some black mold in the corners of the room and a leaky sink. If your sensitive to noise the trains do run directly behind the home but it was not a problem for us. It was within walking distance to shopping, castles, Casa do Gullies And her tomb. Roman theater and citadella. Good restaurants near by as long as your up to walking. Good price as well. The buffet breakfast was simple but good prepared by the staff.

Pictures can be deceiving.
Arrived at three pm. with no staff on a very old and scary building, all rooms were open and dirty. We left after two hours waiting, do me a favor, look elsewhere.

My husband and I arrived (having told the owner our arrival time) and no one was there to greet us. He had switched his phone off. The same thing had happened for two other couples also staying there. The front door had been left open so we had to go inside (no reception) and pick a random room to sleep in. We did not see the owner the whole time we were there. It had a very strange feel to the place, like something wasn't right. We couldn't wait to leave. The room was fine and clean but right by the train tracks, which were noisy from early morning. The breakfast was terrible - with no owner around there was no one to bring new food, fresh bread, replenish jams etc. Would never stay here again.

Check in was a bit disruptive as no front reception type thing. Us and another couple eventually got let in, but we were luckier than two sets of visitors the following day who really struggled with the check in. If they could sort the checking in process, would be happy to recommend the hotel as very close to station and short walk to the town centre. Due to being close to the station, there is also a bit of noise from the nearby rail line...

This was one of the oddest experiences I have had. There was almost no communication before we arrived. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but since you needed a code to enter the property it was. There were people waiting outside for someone to show up to check them out, so they gave us the code and helped us call someone to let them know we were there. The room itself was fine. The breakfast left much to be desired. The internet did not work since a line was cut. Not a huge problem since we had a hotspot, but again there was no communication. The location was convenient to the train station. Apparently, the management recently changed, so maybe there are things to be worked out. However, I travel a lot and the place gave me an overall weird feeling.

We got to the place on July 6th, 2017at 3:00 pm. It was a B&B but we were not clearly informed as the name was HOTEL Magnolia. We tried to call a given number but that line was down. After a while someone popped up from the inside and opened the door. We got to the room but it was undone, and the entire place looked dirty. Our room was finished 20 minutes after, and no-one ever showed up again in 5 days to clean, change towels or make the beds. The breakfast area was a joke! The two coffee machines were down, the water fountain was dry, plates, cups and tableware were piling up in the sink, the floor had not been swept for many days. In the first morning there was milk in the fridge and bread in a basket, than never more. The internet signal at the place was down for the whole period. We were told to use a temporary internet signal, which later we came to know it was coming from the neighbor's house. It worked for two days. After that we had to go to a near train station at an internet café to download and send emails. Booked guests kept arriving at the place and would wait around for the staff to come, for 2 to 3 hours. Departing guests left without paying as there was no one to collect moneys. On the last day of our stay a lady came around to clean the place but she was completely lost. HOTEL Magnolia a B&B in Verona, Italy, must be ruled out immediately from Hotel. Com list.

Unique stay in Verona
Very mixed. At arrival we were greeted by a fellow guest who told us nobody there..??.. Nobody there , no reception, not a single person in sight, further 2 guests arrived , no traces of hotel staff yet. Nobody knew which room for whom, which internet access to use, etc..? 1st time and phone calls not answered. . Then after more than 1 hour manager arrived, due to sudden illness and somehow managed to get all done before he left again. On the positive side there is no question rooms were nice and made up beautifully, one of the internet access points finally did work and self-serve breakfast next morning was indeed excellent. While we understand it may be possible to run a hotel business without permanent staff like this it also showed what can happen if something unexpected like sudden illness hits.. So all in all may be ok but we are not 20 anymore and so this will have been our only stay here.

Good size comfortable room for my family in a charming building, very clean, and breakfast was better than expected - continental style breakfast but with plenty of options for gluten free and vegetarian. Shared bath but it was really nice and very clean as well. Friendly and helpful staff. Just a few minutes walk to the train station. Not located in the most scenic area next to some pretty major traffic ways but it was a great value for us. It's about 15-20 minute walk to most of the sites in Verona.

This was a one-night stopover for us and was a good place to stay. It's in a crowded area and the picture looks like a nice peaceful place. The apartment is one of many you may stay in owned by the same person. It was still comfortable and I don't have any real complaints.
