Excellent stock of amenities in the room! Cookies, jams, coffee, etc. Comfortable beds! Very roomy! A/C could use an uograde or place a fan in the room to mane it more comfortable

The place was spotless and well appointed. The check in process was unclear to us but may have been user error. You check in up the street at a different facility and we were unaware of this. Luckily the restaurant owner below the place directed us to where you check in.

We secured the lodging for 4 guests. It was only one small room separated by a 3/4 height wall. We were told it was a B&B, which I equate with Bed and Breakfast, but were told the breakfast was 12 Euros each. No amenities other than a bed, sofa bed, small fridge and bath. It was clean with a coffee maker and free bottled water and juice

All information about our property are explained very well on our page and all description are clear. We are not a B&B, and not even an apartment ... Breakfast at Hotel Armando costs 12 euros because you are not guest of the hotel. Morevoer if you look at photos, you can see all ameneties of the room

Although there is no front desk, a very convenient location with many stores close by and the hotel provides almost everything you would need for amenities, breakfast, coffee and tea along with juices and bottled water in the fridge.

Such a pleasant experience!! From check in, yes a different location but only a 2 minute walk away, to check out, the hospitality was top notch!! When I come back I guarantee, this will be my first choice if available, I would stay here again!!

A very pleasant, newly refurbished apartment, very conveniently situated, close to the Arena and easy walk to the centre of town of this very beautifull city. Stylish, quirky decor. Helpful, friendly staff. A few minor issues with the equipment in the apartment, but we would be happy to stay there again, and would recommend it as a good place to stay.

A brilliant base for Verona and close to supermarket and superb restaurants. We fell in love with Verona. Aircon helped so much and the hotel were close and helpful nearby. For the price I can’t fault this spacious apartment

Apartment close to vicinities
We were pleasantly pleased when we arrived at this appartment. It is very modern and spacious and they had left us a small supply of food too. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of bedding and towels. Our only criticism is when taking a shower the tray flooded all over the bathroom floor every time and with 4 girls showering our floor was soaked and constantly covered in wet towels. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us with directions and transport and I would happily stay here again and recommend this place to my friends.

A great little suite in Verona.
Check in was smooth. The host found us great parking spot. The suite is roomy and very comfortable though it was quite different from that shown in the photo and did not include cooking facilities. It is very well located in a town that is a must to visit. I would recommend it highly for a short visit to Verona.

The home was larger than expected. There was adequate supplies for simple breakfast. There was a great kitchen, but no microwave. The staff at the Hotel were very helpful. The location was very central to all attractions of Verona. I would stay there again.

Recommended for location and comfort
Great location for our 5 night stay in the top floor apartment, smooth check in and check out at the hotel. WiFi was good although it went off for two days, not an issue for us as we have loads of roaming cellular data. It rained extremely hard for almost 24 hours while we were there and a few drips arrived in the main room, nothing serious and not in the bedroom.

wonderful place to stay in Verona
wonderful apartments - comfortable spacious airy and quiet at night...most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Location brilliant for centre of town and bus routes booked the apartment for friend and I as it said 5 single beds but when arrived only double made up - apparently in Italy you will be charged more to ask for separate beds to be made up. only improvement could be the addition of an iron and ironing board. my friend borrowed the one from the hotel the apartments are run by which isnt far but we had, had to go and fetch them and both irons were faulty with water running out of them so not really safe to use.

The staff is really friendly and the appartment is super modern and confortable. The location is also convinient few minutes walking to the old town. The only challengue was the parking. As a guest can get a permission to park in some blue areas around the hotel but the area is pretty crowded.

A nicely decorated compact apartment with a functional kitchen, great shower and little balcony. The location is very good, a close walk to everything on a quiet and charming street. The bed wasn’t very comfortable though, very soft and sinking in the middle.

New apartment located in the historic center.
Lovely two room apartment just minutes away from all local attractions. One of the staff from the Hotel Armando led us to the apartment and explained all the functions. They provided ample supplies to prepare breakfast at our leisure and recommended restaurants, activities and even the local mini market. As we stayed a week, they arranged a room cleaning mid week which was appreciated! Quiet and safe - church bells lend it some atmosphere!! Lots of privacy! We enjoyed the extra space a second room gives you, a place to rest up between outings or stay up late without interfering in one another's sleeping.

Nice quiet location, minutes from the arena.
Everything was lovely, inside and out. Very clean. Quiet location, but only minutes from the arena. Plenty of little amenities, which was a nice touch for a self catering apartment. I'll definitely be back :-)

Perfect apartment in the centre of Verona
The apartment was amazing! Modern with all the mod cons and in a very central location, just a 5 min walk to the Arena. It is owned by the Armando Hotel (Best Western) around the corner who are very friendly and helpful. Parking permit provided for free by the hotel too.

A good thing if you can find it!
The picture is definitely not the apartment. Our initial contact with property was very disconcerting and we have received an apology. Woman claims that they have been trying for awhile now to get the address changed with Expedia but unsuccessful. We went to the Expedia given address by taxi. We were left off at a closed gate. No way to rouse anyone. Someone came past the gate and let us in. We were in a dark tunnel place leading to a dirty, muddy courtyard. We could Hear someone so my husband searched and saw someone cleaning an apartment but no one who looked official in any way. I called the number on my contract. A woman answered who said we had to come to another address, that it was Saturday and she couldn't come to us. Suddenly a young man came quickly down the stairs saying he would take us. Turns out it was a Best Western. We checked in at the front desk and the same young man took our teen daughters' suitcases (I am a noticeably much older parent. But hey. I do have to say our girls are cute) and led the way down the street, around the corner through a door, up some stairs (yes, he pulled their suitcases up the stairs while I dragged mine) to what ended up being a beautiful, clean suite. There was a fridge and a basket stacked with mostly Twinkie type things for breakfast, but some good juice and coffee. The girls lovedthe room. It had a huge round bed and lights you could change colors. Next day we were allowed to leave our luggage at Best Western while sightseei

Dear guest, I understood you have been disappointed about the check-in address, but we asked you sorry, including right now, five times, so that at the phone, at check-in, at check-out, to your first complaint and here. As already written we have tried for months in changing our address on expedia (on extranet, calling expedia, mailing expedia) but nothing has still happened. So I can imagine your disappointment but please try to understand also us. The 'tunnel leading to a dirty, muddy countryyard' is not under our managment, so if you don't liked it the only thing we could do is to explain your reasons to people who live there. About your luggage, maybe the poter carried your daughters' ones just because of chivarly. Instead of suggesting unlikeable thoughts, you could simply have asked to the boy if he could kindly carry your suitcase............... We are so happy in general in receving tips, advice and also constructive complaints, but we don't think that carrying on in talking about the same thinghs we've already apologized about could be considered constructive. I would like to explain finally that if expedia.com doesn't change the address following copious requests, that's also an expedia problem, not only ours. Kind regards

Nice, quiet, top-floor, split level apartment.
A lovely little apartment in a quiet, central location. Top floor apt, didn't find out the lift wasn't working until we arrived, although this was not an issue for us, it might be for others. Verona is alovely city to wonder around and this self-catering place was brilliant as its location meant we could pop back easily. There were lots of spare towels, pillows and linen.

Lovely hotel centrally located
Our apartment was beautiful, modern, well furnished, with an ideal location. It took about 5/10 mins to walk to the city centre, where all the main attractions are. Is also located about 5 mins from Juliet's tomb (opposite direction). Room was equipped with all the continental breakfast necessities, such as: a range of teas, coffee and coffee machine, milk, sugar, butter, an assortment of jams and Nutella, bread, yoghurt, juice and biscuits. Bed was very comfortable. Wifi connection was excellent, remained solid throughout the entirety of the stay. However, It took a little while for the water to heat up for a shower.

Very clean and spacious !
This was our last night in Italy before flying home and the apartment was perfect. Very secure with easy access to the nearby hotel if there were any problems. The centre of Verona was a 10 minute walk away.

Pleasant stay in modern accommodation
Apartment was huge with lots of space. Great size shower and nice, comfortable bed. Good size fully equipped kitchen. Very modern and well looked after apartment. Very clean. A little inconvenient as you have to check in at another hotel. Parking is a real issue, however, staff did help out by giving us permit to park in blue line spots, except couldn't find any. We were running to get to Andrea Boccelli concert as we were delayed in traffic due to a very bad car accident on the freeway, but had to do full check in with passport etc and this delayed us further. We should have been able to do this after the concert finished. Anyway, overall pretty good. Breakfast was generous in rooms. Many things left in good size fridge and on the table for us to enjoy. Good coffee pod machine in room. No lift, so 3 flights of stairs to apartment. Not good if you have a lot of luggage.

All the alternatives to the parking permission (kindly given us by Hotel Armando, where you checked in) are on payment: public parkings for 16-20 euro per day or a private garage service for 25 euros per day. Excellent place for a family to stay.
Spacious, clean apartment, within extremely easy walking distance of the arena. We found parking right by the hotel and were given a free parking pass. The kitchenette was stocked with basic breakfast supplies (bread, jams, yogurt, milk, juice, bottled water, tea, coffee), all of which were included in the nightly rate. Very comfy and clean space that I would recommend to anyone.

A disappointing stay compared to the pictures
The pictures do show a nice room and it is somewhat, but the place we were given had obviously been flooded by water as the floor was warped, side boards were coming off the wall and underneath the cabinets and walls showed the water stains. The worst issue for us is the air condition in both rooms did not work. The hotel either is blocking the temp to be placed lower or simply they are broken. After complaining they did little to help. So overall our stay here was terrible.

As known, in August, the companies are closed for holidays, and this is why we were unable to fix the walls (if not temporarily and in a homemade manner) during the month of August. We imagine your disappoint and we are sorry about that, but please try to imagine also our troubles! About air conditioning, it is not controlled by the hotel: it's indipendent and not broken. The apartment we stayed in was very nice except it is slightly below ground. This was an issue because there was a flash flood the night we stayed there and the apartment flooded. The hotel staff found us another room and were helpful.

Great apartment in Verona. Be sure to read welcome email for check in procedure. Huge space in an interesting town.

Great place! Perfect location to Arena and other sites in the area. Highly recommend this apartment. The beds were the only thing that were uncomfortable.

Wonderful stay in verona
It was a wonderful stay in Verona. The location was great and so was the room. Clean, big and a lot of thoughtful stuff. The staff was also very nice and accommodating. We would stay here again.

Hot and uncomfortable in upstairs bedroom
Charming apartment. Only problem was the temperature. We booked for a family of 4. Two stayed in the downstairs bed, the other two in the upstairs loft bed. It was very, very hot in Verona that day/night (around 98 degrees F), and the apartment had only one AC unit that was positioned downstairs. Upstairs there was only a fan, no AC, and the temperature reading showed it was over 91 degrees upstairs. Effectively, it was uninhabitable for more than two people. I'm sure when the weather is more mild it would be lovely, but be wary of this rental in the summer heat.
