George and Vicky are great hosts. The property was clean and comfortable, albeit basic. Shower was a tad tiny, but doable. Delightful little breakfast dining room overlooking one of the two streets that make up downtown Delphi. A great stay and you really feel like you’re appreciated.

We stayed at many places during our time in Greece - on the islands and mainland - and Pitho was by far our favorite. The owner and his wife are so accommodating and wonderful. We arrived late and the owner was there to show us our room, make dinner recommendations, and tell us about the museum. Breakfast was amazing. The only bad thing is that we didn’t have time to stay there more than one night. If we ever find ourselves back in Greece, we will be spending more time in Delphi and more time here.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. He seems dedicated to the property and his job. The facility was clean and tidy. It was only an easy one kilometer walk to ancient Delphi. It is a very modest facility with a tiny shower.

The proprietor was very friendly. He came out to meet us as we pulled up. Parking is always hard in Delphi and he was ready to help unload and suggest places to park. The breakfast was good. Lots of fresh jams and preserves and great Greek coffee. Cereal was also available along with omelettes and various types of bread and croissants. WiFi was available and good enough for voice over IP. Lots of places to eat nearby.

Nice hotel, old beds. Not upscale. Homey.
Nice people and hotel. breakfast I think is separately billed. Walking distance to the ruins. Beautiful scenery on the hilltop. At the end of the stay I was given excuse after excuse for problems in my stay rather than making me feel like a valued guest. More like the excuse that "other guest" have never complained or had a problem we had. Narrow stairs only to room. No elevator.

Dear Brian H....mi We knew by the begining that you are going to make complains because you left 07:00 am and you did not fount us . Also you had the key form the frond door and you could lieve any time you wish. Every one who wish to lieve much earlier in the morning inform us(the frond desk) from the last night and we prepair some plates for breakfast in to the room and those are not excuses as you said is the reality. For us every one is a valued gest and is not fair that you said something like this to us(you can see the reviews ). For the end we are very sorry that you did not felt our hospitality like the rest of our visitors.

George is a wonderful host. Helped us find parking, directed us to a very nice restaurant, provided tips on everything. The hotel room was quite comfortable, and there was a beautiful breakfast buffet, which George provided early to accommodate our schedule. This is a small "boutique" experience, no risk of encountering crowds. Would definitely return.

Warm reception with key travel advise, clean room with a comfy bed, great location and a really nice and expansive breakfast buffet (complete with numerous delicious cappuccinos courtesy of the owner). Would happily stay here again on a future trip to Delphi.

George and Vicki’s place was wonderful! The hotel is in an excellent location conveniently located near many shops and restaurants in the main part of town. George is so kind and clearly cares about the guest experience. He greeted us outside the hotel, helped carry up our bags, and provided suggestions for site seeing and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom is updated, though the shower is very small and difficult to use without getting water on the floor. The air conditioning is very high quality and the balcony is a great place to relax and read after a day of site seeing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Delphi!

Exactly what we needed!
My wife and I were going to be passing through Delphi and needed a simple, inexpensive hotel for one night. Pitho was perfect! It's a quaint boutique hotel near the archeological site, and George, the owner, was a wonderful host! He insisted on helping carry our luggage up the stairs, he gave us a map with a few points of interest nearby, he recommended a fantastic restaurant in the neighborhood, and he was also a very pleasant and friendly guy to chat with. We hope we pass through Delphi again someday just so we could stop in and say hello. :)

The location of the property is great, just right in the heart of Delphi. The owners are wonderful and so welcoming. They provided us with a map and instructions on how to visit the Archaeological site. The room was clean and quiet. Overall, great place to stay at when visiting Delphi.

Delphi is a pretty little mountainside town, and Pitho is right in the middle of it. Lots of shopping and dining options right outside the door, a <10 minute walk to the museum, and a few minutes more to the archaeological site. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in the town, but you should be able to find some with a little patience - I was able to, even at peak season. :)

Pitho a great choice for special Delphi stay
Pitho was a great hotel selection for our night in Delphi with my husband and daughter. Their triple room worked great. The breakfast was ample with many local homemade items. George is a fabulous, welcoming host and made our visit unforgettable. The hotel is walking distance from the Delphi ruins site. We also really enjoyed our dinner in Arachova at a farm to table restaurant called To Tsoukali and our amazing visit/bee tour the next day to MoKa Honey in Itea only 20 minutes away. The whole stay in Delphi was lovely and well worth it.

Welcoming Hosts and Great Location
We loved our stay here! We found parking easily on the main street (we may have been lucky), and were greeted immediately by our hosts who were so friendly. The room was spacious and spotless with a picturesque balcony. Breakfast was home-cooked and amazing. I can't say enough about our hosts -- they were so welcoming. It was a perfect choice for our one-night visit to Delphi.

Parking will be a problem since a near by parking is 10 minutes' walk. This property has a retail shop downstairs. The owners is a nice guy if you need a friend. I saw many similar properties around the area so it is worthy to check.

Dear Mr E.....d Thank you very much staying with us it was a pleasure. Delphi is a small village is not like the big cities. You could park your car infrond or very close to our hotel and is for free. We remember your car very close to our hotel and not far away. Also you should know that Delphi is protectied by UNESCO as a traditional village and everybody respect ed also the limits of the village stays thesame since 70s and we like it.

The Pitho Rooms is centrally located in the town of Delphi and ideal for visiting the Archaeological Museum and ancient site. The owners George and Vicky were very welcoming and made our stay enjoyable. The room was basic but comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and overall the stay was good value for money.

George, the proprietor, was friendly, helpful and highly informative about the Delphi area and Greece in general. The room was well-appointed. Breakfast was first-rate. Altogether it was better than I had anticipated and well worth the price.

The hotel is in a great location with a marvelous host. Breakfast was great, and everything you could want is in walking distance. We were there in November, but parking was also quite easy.

Rooms PITHO is centrally located in the town of Delphi convenient to many Tavernas. There is no private parking but we had no trouble parking on the street in early October. The host was very congenial and the room was spotless. Ancient Delphi is only a few minutes away. The breakfast was very good and the room price reasonable. Overall this was a fine choice for a night in Delphi

Thank you very much staying with us.After your arrival we asked you if everything was ok and you said to us ok to.The next morning during breakfast you asked me(George) if we gave you a wrong room and we told you that this was the wright one and not the small one as you thought(it was double room, and you was single)because you pay for a double. After our chating at breakfast time you told me that you made us a bad review and you felt bad and you wish to make a new review but it was late(you all ready sent it). You know why we asked you if everything was ok?Bekause all our visitors are very very special to us! You are not a client you are our gest!! Thanks again

Felt like part of the family!
George and Maria, owners of the hotel,couldn’t have been nicer! Not to mention the creamiest feta served at breakfast along with a warm bread from the local bakery. You should also check out the souvenir store below the hotle where prices are more than reasonable.
