Not “absolute paradise “

This family reunion with everyone traveling from all over to meet in a central location. VB and the house was perfect! So we thought, until check-in and walking into the mess and problems of the house. The website with the pictures are out of date. The description on the amenities was grossly misleading. The hot tub did not, broken glass on the pool deck which my sister step on. Another sister is a nurse and attended to her foot.Broken door latch so home could not be locked. and at one point a window falling out of the framing when opened.. There was communication with the management company and they did come a fix he door handle. They assessed the window with the only option, replacing them, which was not happening during our stay.We were told check in would be delayed due to prior guest significantly dirtied the place with no respect of property. A double cleaning crews was called in to help. Things got overlooked due to rushing. Broken coffee maker, we had to run out and buy one. A bed in one had a broken leg. A lamp broken in the living room. A half eaten hotdog was found in between the couch seats. Vomit on walls. Something smeared all over the door in one bathroom. The ice makes did not work. Some of the pans were so rusty and could not be used. The house had two dishwashers and one didn’t work or the garbage disposal. The floors were very sticky from the cleaning crew rushing . This whole experience makes me rethink my future vacation rentals.

Has potential

As a family we cook a lot and found that the kitchen was missing a large pasta pot. We also had to purchase a cookie sheet (for bacon) and we picked up mixing bowls. Pool was great, location to beach great, loved the layout. One of the master baths had mold around the tub but overall a nice rental property.

Family Vacation

This property is spacious with 8 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. However, there are major concerns about maintenance. Kitchen sink has had a major leak for some time, cupboard underneath had mold and a large rust spot. Kitchen could be cleaner. Silverware drawer had dirty silverware in it and dirt and bugs in the back. The property accommodates 19, we had 12, there were only 11 forks. Cupboards and drawers were peeling. Microwave did not work. Grills were not cleaned. Outside shower was gross. Pool had a leak and water level was below skimmer. Patio doors were hard to open due to dirt and debris in the tracks. One upstairs bathroom tub had a slow drain and showering left you standing in ankle deep water. Upper bedroom closet had a large hole in the wall with insulation showing covered with a clothes hamper. Really? Pool leak and kitchen sink required 2 service calls each, interrupting our vacation 4 times. I have booked VRBO properties many times and have been very satisfied. However, none of them were managed by Vacasa. I did not know this one was or I might not have booked it since Vacasa gets poor ratings online from Yelp, etc. I paid a lot of money for this property to celebrate our 60th anniversary with my family. I would expect the property would be in pristine condition. I don't know if this review goes to the property owner or Vacasa. If it is to the owner, I would reconsider your management. I sent a review to Vacasa and have heard nothing.

Spacious Beachside Home

Family enjoyed this roomy home a few steps away from the beach. Clean and loved the fully stocked kitchen and towel sets on each bed.

Family Getaway

The property was in a great location! We loved the space and that each bedroom had its own bath and balcony There were some cleanliness issues in the kitchen, sliding door tracks, and pool shower. We reported a broken coffee carafe and empty propane tanks that were never resolved. I received several text messages and a phone call but no resolution. Guest Service Rep suggested that we purchase propane and submit a receipt. Not acceptable.
