“New hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, external surroundings still work in progress”

“I did not get use of the room as the hotel was locked up despite calling and leaving messages there was no reply . I had the inconvenience of having to travel 12 miles to find another hotel .”

“Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron. Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. ”

Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.”

It says parking, but that is hit and miss, with parking permits issued, but several cars in the car park without them and therefore difficulty finding a space. The room although quite well presented was very small, more of the size I would have expected for a single room, not double. It was hot weather I know, but even with a fan running all the time, the temperature was unbearable and the window had restricted opening. The hot water temperature needs……

“Food was great and bar was well kept. Bed was comfy so comfortable in fact I overslept! Such a good find, not overly pretentious just good quality, helpful staff and good food. Perfect for a business stop over. WiFi was also reliable.”
