The trail drops abruptly at what all would consider its end about a mile away from the trailhead. Fortunately or not, this last mile is actually an old country road that passes a few hundred feet below the gorge highway (State Highway 14) only to intersect with it at the very end.

Technically speaking, this last stretch of road is part of the Cape Horn Trail, and is picturesque enough to warrant that categorization.

It's very bright from the skylights. We were only there for 2 nights so we didn't have the opportunity to check out the gym. It was a good value for the price."
