“Charming cottage! Great location to Charlottesville and UVA. The cottage was immaculate, beds were comfy and the downstairs kitchen had everything you would need. The cottage owners had thoughtfully created an updated modern feel for a precious historic cottage.”

“House was clean except for the two dirty hand towels lying on the bed when we arrived. Washer and dryer were behind a locked door so I had to message the host to get a code to open it. She first insisted it wouldn’t be inside a locked door, so I had to wait for her to find out about it and she replied quickly enough with the access code. I’m guessing nobody ever needed to use the washer before us? Strange. Rooms could have used dressers or something to put clothes in. Vanities in master……

“If I could give more than five stars I would. House is stocked with everything you need and then some. So peaceful and we love hearing the sound of the stream. The dogs loved the backyard and fire pit is amazing.”

“Our whole family - including our pups really enjoyed our brief stay at this lovely home. The backyard is a woodland oasis - patio, fire pit, tree swing, s’mores kit, hot tub! What more do you need?! The bedrooms were so cozy and decorated beautifully. And the larder at in kitchen for us all for meals. Our host was extremely communicative and accommodating. If our son didn’t just graduate from JMU, this is where we’d stay when visiting Harrisonburg.”
