“Fantastic getaway with our kids (10 and 6). The house was so cozy and felt like such a home. Well equipped and hosts were so lovely! We enjoyed walking around Charlottesville, doing hikes and sitting by the fire and reading! Beds were very comfortable and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend! “Listing said there was a hot tub, but there was none, the listing said there was a fireplace inside, but there was none. The amenities were too far to the next building to even enjoy and difficult to find at night time, but the bed was very comfortable and the patio was nice. I will not go back, as per my video there was a huge trash pile in the back. “House was clean, nicely arranged and very spacious. The only issue we experienced was with the front door. Upon arriving the deadbolt which is controlled by a key pad unlocked however, the doorknob was also locked. We called the number listed on VRBO and received tje automatic VRBO line and was extremely unhelpful. I did locate a key box hidden in an area and was able to get the key with the same code provided to us. On our last night there we were again locked out for 15 minutes as the……

“The Home Tract cottage is very comfortable, very clean and very cozy. Comfortable bed, a lot of nice personal touches, a lovely setting and close to Charlottesville. I highly recommend it!”

“General cleanliness. Ceiling tiles need to be replaced. Multiple spiders/bugs throughout. There was also a mug growing mold that was left by the kitchen sink. We ended up not staying over night. We just used the space to get a ready for the wedding we were attending in the area. ”

“Loved staying at the Birds and Bees Cottage. It was so peaceful waking up each day, sitting on the porch and enjoying the views of the farm. This cottage was the perfect spot to unwind after visiting some local wineries. It was quiet and very easy to relax on the porch with a good book in the evening. Hope to return in the fall. ”
