“We needed to stay close and other safari lodge we booked and Panama was as the perfect place. The staff were so hospitable and pleasant. They were the start of my amazing time in Tanzania. Shamsa was an angel & so were the team. The restaurant stayed open later just for us to eat when we arrived. The food was great. The driver was nice and helpful. The kitchen staff were so pleasant. Everything was clean and tidy. It was a 10/10 in everything.”

“I had such a wonderful stay here. The hotel is lovely and immaculate. The rooms had a private balcony. The staff was unbelievably welcoming to us ( we stayed there our first two nights in Tanzania). They always went out of our way to provide hospitality. The food was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! And it also is satisfying that the income from the hotel goes to support the adjacent school!”

“I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. ”

“Modern hotel in central Moshi. Staff were amazing! My suitcase lock broke & I couldn’t open the outside of my suitcase & they came up with tools to save the day. At breakfast, they accommodated my vegan needs & the cook even made fresh sweet treats for me. They helped me get a safe taxi to my starting tour hotel. I picked a Kilimanjaro view room & was given a 7th floor one. It had fantastic windows which would have made for a spectacular view but the clouds kept Kili hidden for my stay.……
