Local to city centre

The Flat Iron is an exceptional place for the area and especially for those interested in Anfield or attending a Reds game. Check-in directions were easy to follow and although there is no front desk (contactless check in) the manager is very responsive with calls and questions. The room was spacious and has everything you need. There is a modern bathroom with an open walk in shower. The water is plenty hot and maybe too hot for some. I had difficulty getting it to cool down with the knob. The room has tall ceilings and giant windows that open for excellent air flow and being able to hear the hustle and bustle of the locals (if that’s your thing). It is within walking distance of LFC Stadium and there is a small pub on the ground floor that has all the appeal of a local supporters watering hole. There are a handful of other places within walking distance for food, otherwise you have to deliver or drive. After dark the neighborhood was quiet but I was still uneasy with going out too far on foot and would caution against it. Also, you have to find your own street parking, which can be tedious with all the parking restrictions.

Great staff and service. Unfortunately bed was very uncomfortable
