Well. The first night we stayed was very good but the second night was not as good. Yelling, screaming, swearing. Banging on walls. Till 2 a.m.

Great breakfast, fun swimming facilities but something is always not working( this time was rain shower , swim resistance and men’s sauna . Otherwise we are always pleased and will continue to stay here

Staff gloated about it being the top Hampton inn in the world, door did not work and the heating system did not work… I would hate to see the other Hampton inns if this was their best.

You do not get what you pay for
Hotel did not have the room we booked and paid for. Reached out to customer service and everyone blamed everyone for the confusion for 3 hours. We had to pack our family up and find and pay for a different hotel that had a big enough room to accommodate our family size.

We stayed here with our 3 children while visiting Oglebay and our stay was great. The room was clean, it was close to everywhere we went and the breakfast was great.. we even had a surprise visitor during breakfast.... Mr.Grinch!

Party Hotel - no sleep
The staff was very nice and friendly. The kids enjoyed the fish tank. We had a HORRIBLE experience because the people in the room next to us were partying (literally screaming) at around 12:30-1:00 am. We called the front desk and I think they must have told them quiet down. Then again at around 1:30 am, we could hear the couple next door loudly having pornographic sex. Thank goodness my kids are heavy sleepers. It was disturbing. Then their friends came by again and started yelling. We got very little sleep after being on the road all day before. The beds and pillows were also pretty uncomfortable and the beds creaked loudly when you got in or out. The room also had a mini fridge that didn't seem to work, and had way too much unnecessary furniture. Room was cramped.

They are #1 for a reason!!
Very clean the staff was very helpful. The rooms were spacious beds comfortable. The breakfast had variety and very good! I can't say enough about the staff and their wanting to be gracious and hospitable! From Cathy the night clerk, to David the day clerk to Richard the shuttle driver! I don't think we've ever been to a hotel that really tried to make our stay amazing!!!

Booked a queen size bed, the room was right next to the elevator shaft so that is all you heard in the room. Went to the desk & complained they moved us to a king size bed.

This hotel has the friendliest staff and best customer service. However, the beds are AWFUL. It was so uncomfortable that we gave up trying to sleep and left in the middle of the night. This alone will keep us from returning.
