First, this isn't a Hilton, so people who expect a "fancy" hotel will be disappointed. However, if what is important to you is a clean, quiet, comfortable room to sleep, this one is great. The pillows were so good. All the staff, including the owner, I encountered were polite and nice. Breakfast is very basic continental, "grab and go" type. Yes, there is a deposit, which is a commonality these days, and they did charge a $5 fee to refund the deposit. The room cost was still a savings compared to others of the same quality in the area. Measure your expectations to Super 8's and this is the best I have stayed in.

Got to the hotel to see a sign that says “when booking through a 3rd party website there will be a $50 dollar deposit hold, and $5 dedicated from it as a charge” I’m completely fine with this however a heads up or something on the website would’ve been nice. Then when checking in the front desk agent verbally told me and my friend our room number and where it was. We are two young (24&23) girls traveling alone. And the agent thought it would be a good idea to say where our room is aloud for the entire lobby to hear? You never know who’s listening or who has bad intentions. We went to our room and immediately put a chair in front of the door feeling unsafe. We didn’t want to say anything because we’ll be coming back to the property on our round trip home and didn’t want to have the employee mad at us.

Attendant at desk too busy streaming movies on her phone to help guests. The room had a foul odor and the carpet felt grimey and gross. The whole hotel feels like it needs power washing. Freshly discarded cigarette carton in the elevator. We were only passing through on our way to the east coast, so it served it's purpose for a quick nap, but next time I'll keep passing through to somewhere (ANYWHERE) else

The staff was excellent! I arrived early and they were willing to check me in ahead of the 3 pm check-in time. The location is convenient to many of Wheeling's gems! I would stay here again!

My two words: Mostly good. Good things * Feared that the property might not be quiet at night or early in the morning, but it was fine * For the price, refrigerator and microwave in the room were nice touches * Property was easily accessible and staff was cordial Other things (And these are what I'd consider minor infractions) * No Weather Channel on TV. Don't think I ever stayed at hotel that didn't have that channel * Something was wrong with 43-channel TV lineup. On Channels 17, 20 and 37, the same channel aired -- SportsNet Pittsburgh. 37 was supposed to be TNT, which carried NBA playoff games at night. Couldn't watch them because SNP was carried instead. I told someone at the front desk who wrote the information down, but nothing ever changed the next two days. * Must have walked through the lobby 20 times, and I'd say no staff at the front desk 15 of those times. A couple times I wanted to ask about something. * The wifi password I was given upon check-in had apparently expired a day or two before. It wasn't until the second day that I got a working password. * I didn't get to try the daily breakfast that was provided because the times were (what I think) too early -- 6 to 9 a.m. I worked nights 45 years, so my sleep hours are mostly 1-9 a.m. Most hotels extend their hours to 10 or later.

Bought food for the weekend come to find out refrigerator not working. Very limited breakfast options I know it's free but other hotels at least have fruit or hot cereal packets ,yogurt and sometimes hot food other than a waffle that everyone is waiting to use

An excellent choice
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite. The hallways had a funny smell of marijuana smoke and air freshener which was unpleasant but the hotel was in good condition and appeared clean. It was in a great location, close to every possible amenity that you could want. I will stay there again in the future
