Nice Hotel close Williamsburgh VAPosted Nov 23, 2015
Pros: Bar and place to see outside
Cons: Extent restaurant hours in the weekend.
Location: Pretty close by Williamsburgh and by the city, restaurants - but everything is driving distance
The Hotel was pretty close by the historic sites we wanted to visit; It was clean and had everything we wanted: pool, breakfast available and restaurant/bar with pleasant personnel.

Pros: Location. Indoor Pool.
Cons: Dining room staff should be clean and neat at ALL times. Area should be cleaned at all times.
Front desk staff was excellent. Room was somewhat dusty. Dining Room was not as clean as it could have been. Staff uniforms in Dining area dirty and appeared to be unkept. Overall it was just ok!!! Cost of breakfast NOT Worth it!!!

very comfortable and convenientPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Comfort, cleanliness, location. They also have a bistro that was open when I arrived late on a Saturday night.
Cons: From my experience, not much. I felt right at home while I was there. I didn't need to contact anyone for anything additional.
Location: Very centrally located for anything I wanted to do--Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Bush Gardens, shopping, restaurants, more shopping.....
The Holiday Inn on Bypass Road was very comfortable. My rooms were good sized, modern and clean. I felt like I was in a small apartment during my 8 day stay. The staff was always very pleasant and accommodating whenever needed. The location was perfect for getting to the many sites and activities in and around Williamsburg, Colonial Williamsburg, and Jamestown, as well as all the shopping malls and restaurants. My room had all the amenities that I expected to have when I made my reservation. It also had an iron and ironing board and a safe. There were laundry facilities available conveniently for guests to you as well. They also have free parking and the building itself is easiy to recognize and find when you are looking for it -- especially at night. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone planning a trip to Williamsburg. An A+ experience in my book!

OK hotelPosted Aug 16, 2015
Room was nice enough for 2 nights. Hotel staff were friendly. Restaurant food was ok, but the service was terrible. Will stay somewhere else the next time we go to Williamsburg. .

Good, not greatPosted Aug 14, 2015
Based on reviews, I expected better. Free breakfast not free. $10 voucher for a $12 buffet breakfast. Better options close by. Denny's right next door. Very small pool. Photos are deceiving. Staff polite, but not helpful when requesting info about area and attractions. Room was large, but loose towel bar, broken lamp. Avoid rooms near elevator and ice machine.
