New Year’s Getaway
We had a positive experience. The resort and two bedroom suite met our family needs as we celebrated New Year’s in Williamsburg. Our kids enjoyed the game room and mini golf. We loved eating at Sal’s by Victor and Food for Thought.

Wyndham Kingsgate- not bad
Decent place. Amenities closed at 10 pm sharp. Arcade is free with the small $7 per day resort fee. Perfectly located. Units are dated but suitable. Extra linens in closet for pull out bed. Units had washer and dryer and soap for dishwasher and washer/dryer. AC worked very well. Unit was kinda smelly like someone previously smoked in unit. On our last night, there was a bug crawling on the floor in bathroom....one that you don’t want to see. Just happy we saw it on our last night! All and all...I l would stay here again!

Great outdoor spaces
We enjoyed our stay at Wyndham Kingsgate. The outdoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. I wish we had planned more time for playing at the property. It was convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens, Jamestown, and the outlets. My only complaint was at check-in there was loud music playing in the reception area, and so many people talking. After a long drive I couldn't wait to get out of there and the very kind concierge had to go through his routine of trying to get us to attend a timeshare info session. He didn't push too hard, but I also couldn't really hear him with the loud music.

Excellent!
Very convenient to Williamsburg and the peninsula. Management on site was very responsive and answered any requests within minutes (not that we had many). Clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Good quality linens, furniture and kitchen appliances including pots, pans etc.

I booked this vacation March 26, 2022 for July 16, 2022. My fiancé and I was very excited to take this vacation and we booked a ton of things for us to do as a family. However, tragically on July 8th my fiance was killed in a car accident and when asked for a refund or for me to take my trip at a later date, I was refused. The calling hours and funeral was on the 18th & 19th so I only got 3.5 days but was charged the full amount. There was no consideration given for an unfortunate tragic circumstance. It's not like we just decided not to come. I was, and still am, devastated and certainly did not enjoy my vacation like I wanted to. I did like the resort, it had a lot of amenities and it was beautiful and clean. I was just disappointed in the way I was treated under the circumstance.

Great location
The community’s amenities in the development where great! My husband and I really enjoyed the adult pool and the kids love the Activity center, which they did not have to pay to play games in. The only issue we had was that one the bathroom’s drain did not drain, so we ended up using only one of the bathrooms. The location is great, only 15 minutes away from everything. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful
Just as pictured. Very well appointed and clean. We were 3 adults had 2 bedrooms. The smaller bedroom had a door to the to the main bathroom so it could be ensuite. Very quiet. Only negative was the parking had very tight stalls with all the SUVs. We had to get out of the car then park. My husband is 6'4" good thing he is thin and could wiggle out of the drivers side.

Nice place.
Overall we were pleased. Amenities were very nice and the room was nearly spotless. Email included property address but lacked specific directions to the Kingsgate entrance. We ended up on the backside of the resort and had to turn around and back track to the check in facility. Very awkward. Three story walk up was a surprise but we aren't older folks and can negotiate stairs (no elevator). We would go back.

Beautiful property, too noisy
The property itself was better than expected - nicely decorated with everything we needed for a short getaway and clean. Too bad sleeping was impossible. There appears to be no insulation in the walls and ceiling. This unit (103a) is situated with the master bedroom directly under the stairs. We heard people running up the stairs and talking all night long. Then there was additional noise as we heard every footstep of the family staying above us. Too bad for such a nice property. Perhaps a unit on the upper floor would be better.
