"Overall positive experience from this property. Pros: Beautiful cabin in a great location on the Ausable River. Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. "We stayed here for a week while our son was at a hockey camp in Lake Placid. Some of the things we really liked were the hot tub and sauna, the wide variety of cooking spices and condiments, and the secluded property. "The location was perfect for us (two of us doing the Ironman) Away from the crowds and chaos of Lake Placid Located just off the bike course, so easy for us to go out for a ride along a portion of the course. Peaceful mornings listening to the birds and quiet evenings with no traffic, very calming. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of towels. A bit of a tight squeeze getting up the spiral stairs to the loft. A very enjoyable place to call home for a few days. Many thanks."
