Make sure you checkout the Obsidian Restaurant inside the hotel. Amazing dinner. Tasty food and decent service.

Clean place with friendly service. The property’s grounds are large and very clean. The only downsides were the food and the rooms are really warm.

Line at check in and staff was nice but said first day reopening and weather caused computer issues. Room and hotel were fine and sat in frint of fireplace in bar. Limited opening had general store closed at 5 ot 1hr after checkin. We arrived 5:15 so no choices on food. Had nice drink setting in bar then asked for table at dining room. Sat at least 15min with only water. No one ever came. Food pricey with small options. We walked out and 3 managers were standing behind us oblivious we were never served just talking. Oy other option was fast food grill closing at 7. Rushed over very friendly staff here but food was just average. Missed opportunites in the village for coffee service and outdoor seating like by a fire would have been great.

Greetings from Yellowstone, Andreanna!I'm sorry things were not as you expected. I'd appreciate it if you could take the time to let us know more about what was wrong with your room. You checked in on our opening day and all rooms had been cleaned before our guests arrived, so I am wondering what we missed. Were you asked if you wanted housekeeping during your stay upon check in?

Seems unpolished, small disappointments like no WiFi, getting a cup of soup in the bar was a hassle, other missteps in the lounge.

It’s close to the old faithful geyser. You can walk there as many times as you want. We watched three times of the eruption. One even at night.

Its a great place to stay inside the park. SInce it was the end of the season, there were no crowds. It saves a lot of time staying in the park if you have only a few days to visit Yellowstone. The dining room staff was great to talk to and the local fare was really good.

Great stay in a fantastic place
Our stay was a great experience. The staff was polite and helpful. The only experience that was disappointing was the meals at the restaurant. It was not family friendly. Should have meals that most people are used to eating.

The restaurant at the Snow Lodge was delicious. We had a dinner buffet at Old Faithful Inn and it was horrible. The buffet was very messy, and the food was substandard. The selections were limited and the food was disappointing. We read reviews which warned not to go there, but we took a chance. It is shameful that such a beautiful inn would fail to address the shortcomings of its dining after consistently negative reviews.

Feels like made only for upperclass people
Customer services all around were horrible. $400/nt for a smoltering hot room with no AC or amenities, no water pressure, no helpful people,l in sight, outrageously priced food ($40/pp+) and upturned noses at every counter. Will never return or recommend. Didn't feel comfortable or welcome at any time during our stay.

Property is outdated but nice. Old not renewed rooms including bathrooms (three containers -unreadable I guess shampoo, conditioner and body soap but which is which?). Staff very unhelpful. Checkin at 4 PM, not willing to talk to people before that time even when all rooms were ready. Staff at dinner - much nicer. An overpriced and not even standard option. But since there are very limited options within Yellowstone National Park, they can do this…

Staying inside the park was great, and this is a new facility which was very comfortable and clean. Although no TV since they want you to get out into the park, you don't spend much time in your room. Laundry facilities were great, staff was really kind and helpful. Food options in May are a bit limited but stores have snacks and back up.

Old Faithful Snow Lodge
The room was nice. No A/C was a little hard to get used to but the fan kept it cool enough in May. I’m not sure how warm it’d get later in the summer. Close to Old Faithful with plenty of shopping and dining nearby.

Price paid for staying in the park.
The facility was nice and in the park saving hours of driving. However, the lack of dining options required lots of planning. At the time of our stay, OFSL had the best dining options in the park. Also, although it got down to the 30’s and 40’s at night, with a window open and a fan from the closet we were still warm. We thought it was very expensive for what we got and may consider staying outside the park next time. Perhaps it’s the tour buses driving up the price, as there were several during our stay.

We booked a room but were placed in a cabin. It was dirty, cold and bed pillows had an odor and were filthy. Front desk staff were not at all helpful in addressing issues we had. Bedding consisted of a sheet and thin blanket we had to sleep in our clothes!
