    Wyoming Hotel Travel Guide

Wyoming is another iconic state of the American West where city life is not the thing that draws visitors in droves. Towns in Wyoming are small, and most of those who visit Wyoming hotels are there to explore the back country because it offers the perfect antidote to the stresses inherent in our modern day pace of life. Like other states with no real urban areas, prices for rooms in hotels in Wyoming are more expensive as you get deeper into the wilderness. However, some of the small cities and towns where cheap hotel deals in Wyoming can be found are worthwhile destinations in their own right and are within an easy drive of many wilderness locations.

The city of Casper, Wyoming, for instance, is within reasonable driving distance of the world-famous fly-fishing grounds of the Bighorn River. Visitors who take advantage of Wyoming hotel deals in Casper will have the opportunity to visit the Fort Caspar Museum and Historic Site, enjoy a walk in Casper's Rotary Park, and attend a performance by the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra.

The Wyoming Dinosaur Center also provides an excellent reason for visitors to book rooms in Wyoming hotels. Located in the small town of Thermopolis, Wyoming, guests can see actual skeletal fossils that were found in nearby excavation beds. As one of the top dinosaur museums in the world, many families on road trips through the American West include this community on their list of educational stops.

Wyoming is extremely sparsely populated, so those seeking to find solitude by making reservations for Wyoming hotel packages will find it in abundance. Those who love having the opportunity to view wildlife in its natural habitat will be thrilled when they spend a day at the Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge or the National Elk Refuge. Winter sports enthusiasts routinely claim that the Wyoming community of Jackson Hole has some of the best skiing in the west. Jackson Hole is also a special summer destination for many travelers, and because the area is not as crowed in the summer as during the winter, it is possible to get a cheap Wyoming hotel deal in this area during summer, spring, and fall. Discount rates are usually available in the spring before school lets out for summer break, and this provides a perfect chance for adults looking for romantic getaways to have the peace and privacy that they desire.

"Nice hotel; room needs to be updated."
Hotel room had a great spacious layout and wondeful view! Loved the fireplace which we used every night (in June). Tables, chairs, bed were a nice quality; however, the paint, carpet, and fabrics were stained and in need of replacement. Windows looking out on the Tetons were very dirty. The staff and breakfast were excellent. Alex was very helpful and Virginia was very gracious.

    "Awesome cabin unit"
We loved the individual cabin! Very, very cozy, super clean, delightfully quaint and extremely close to Jackson Town Square. We only were there a night, but we wish we could have stayed a week. We will be back!

    "Great location in Tetons"
You will not get a more gorgeous view of the Teton's Mountain Range or the National Park. The first room we got was not what I expected for the cost of the room, so the staff moved us, no questions asked. We got a nicer room, very clean and cute Adirondack chairs right outside on our porch. Their are many activities, planned each day, and for all ages, including a pool. The Pioneer diner is a great place for breakfast or lunch. I'd stay out of the pricier hotel restaurant, the food was so so and the prices were high, waiter was a little pretentious. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

    "Cool Old School Roadside Motel"
This place was great! The staff was friendly and helpful, starting off with a phone call to make sure someone would be there to check us in if we rolled in late. This place is biker friendly and even has some towels to clean up your bikes. My battery was dead and the desk guy pulled his truck around for a jump, my cables weren't doin it so he called the boss and he came by immediately with some jumper cables and got us going! Met some great people who were on a road trip in there Model A's on trek from Colo. They even hooked up our friends who were running late with a great last minute rate on their room. We will definitely stay here again!

    "Totally Great!"
The staff was very accommodating - gave us a room on the first floor, even though we had not asked for it. Very solicitous about everything. The hotel does not serve breakfast, but there is a family restaurant close by, and we ate there twice. Couldn't be better. Very Easy to get to the Buffalo Bill Museums and the Cody Rodeo -- all in all, a wonderful stay. Cody WY -- Thank you for being a true patriotic town -- we noticed the American flags everywhere! Blessings to you!
