Very close to the bus station. This made traveling from one city to the next easier to arrange. There is a small shared kitchen to use. Few supermarkets are very close. The walk to the old town is a reasonable distance for us but may not be suitable for everyone. We took some random small streets intentionally to walk through the neighborhood to see areas not visited by most of the tourists. We were there in May, the weather was perfect and not too crowded. The hosts responded to messages very quickly. The room is the right size for 2 persons. A place to consider when visiting Zadar.

Antonella was the most amazing host.Weve been travelling for 5 weeks and never had such wonderful service, she went out of her way to accommodate us when we arrived late. She greeted us and carried our luggage, gave us directions to all the great eating places and the sea organs. By the way Antonella, Bob Rocks was the best ice cream we have had all trip.Thanks so much for all the recommendedations and your wonderful hospitality.

I would classify Lavandula more as a guesthouse than a hotel, given that it has only about 10 rooms and limited common area. There is, however, a nice little area to sit outside, and it is just a couple of hundred meters from the beach. It's just under a mile to the old town, which can be reached by walking along the beach (for most of the way), although it is slightly shorter to walk along the street. My room wasn't fancy, but it had a nice modern design and was very clean. I was surprised when I was told Lavandula is about 10 years old, because I thought it was much newer based on the design and condition. I chose Lavandula primarily because it had convenient parking. It's not a luxury property and it's not in the center of the action, but it is walkable and for someone looking for a good, reasonably priced place to stay, this is an excellent choice.

Good location, 5 mins walk to the bus station, 15 mins walk into old town. They helped to arrange my boat tour and customer service was good. I stayed in the maisonette and it had all the necessary mod cons. My only feedback to the owners is that the pillow isn't comfortable and the door locks are tricky to put the key in. Nice stay nonetheless.

Very nice room a short walk from Old Town and waterfront. Note that property does not have a restaurant or 24hr staff if that's important to you.

What a pleasant surprise to find this little hotel. The room was very nice, newly updated, and very comfortable in every way. The staff was amazingly sweet and kind and helpful. You can walk to Old Town and the beach. Free parking. They don't have a kitchen in the room, but have one downstairs everyone can use. If you're looking for a great value in Zadar, I highly recommend Lavandula.

The room was really nice and clean. We had a queen bed upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs. The sofa bed is hard as a rock, since we only stayed for one night it wasn’t a big deal but it’s not ideal for many nights. Our room was in front of the reception and we could hear everything (very thin walls), that was weird. It was also close to the road so you could hear all the cars passing by. If you are a light sleeper ask for another room. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Parking was small and you need to go down about 8 steps with luggage to go in the hotel. 10 min walk to the city and 5 min walk to the beach, which is very convenient

Black hair found in bed sheets, 11 euros per person for breakfast - you get only a baguette, some salami, cheese, yogurt, juice and coffee.. you can get a full breakfast from local restaurants from 3 to 6 euros...I would not buy breakfast again as it is not worth it... Otherwise, stuff was friendly and great location.. Thanks

We, on the contrary, think that the value for money of our breakfast is extremely good and that the breakfast should perhaps be more expensive. Namely, it's a shame that you simplified our breakfast so much that you didn't mention that you get two different pastries, butter, nutella, marmalade and two different fruits. As for prices in restaurants, we don't know what kind of breakfast you can get for 6. And let alone for 3, which is how much coffee alone costs in cafes. not very happy about my stay. The room downstairs where I was sleeping was smelling like an old basement. I was told that this is due to the cleaning detergent the cleaner uses. Not a good sleep. The grouting was also mouldy. Cleaner needs to use a grouting brush.

The area is one of car repair shops, totally unacceptable for a hotel. One has to go down the steep staircase to use the bathroom. Pretty risky when you're not wide wake. Very noisy fan. The clothes closet is downstairs instead of where the bad is. Would not stay again.

Our staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating, which is confirmed by the rating on Booking of 9.7/10. At the check-in, you were told that check-out is until 11 a.m., and you can find that information on our website and on the prospectus at the reception. At 11:15 our receptionist knocked on your door just to find out when you will be leaving because we had an early check that day. No one was rude to you or kicked you out of the room. Excellent hotel even better before/after a ferry
Lavandula was definitely a hidden gem. My wife and I absolutely loved it. We had spend the previous week in Italy and this was our first hotel in Croatia. Wow it was a breath of fresh air. The room was huge! It had a full size couch and the comfiest bed ever! The host/reception was super helpful. We took the jadrolina ferry to Zadar and she let us drop our bags off early at 7:30 am. We then got a message from her a little later at 10 that the room was ready so we could check in early if we wanted. The shower was huge and the water pressure was hot and excellent. It is a small hotel based on the number of rooms but the room size and quality was top notch. My wife and I commented that we could stay a whole month and feel comfortable and right at home. Also the location of the hotel is perfect smack dab in the middle between the beach and old town. It’s also accross the street from the bus station so getting a bus to/from the ferry terminal is really easy. I would highly recommend lavandula. I know i will stay there again the next time I am in Zadar.

This hotel was lovely, and had free on site parking. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Zadar. 5 min walk to beach and beach walk to old town which was about 20 min. Fun, cute place.

Beautiful modern apartment which was spotlessly clean. Great bathroom with what looked like a brand new suite, great shower and plenty of space. Small, functional kitchen area with open plan lounge and separate, very comfortable bedroom. Location is fantastic. 2 minutes walk to Zadar bus station, similar to big Spar supermarket, 5 minutes on foot to Kolovare Beach and about 20 minutes walk to the Sea Organ which is at the far end of the Old Town. Reception staff were very friendly and gave great advice. Our only regret was that 2 nights was not long enough!
