“Great place and so close to the sand dunes! I will def be back here! The rooms have little sitting areas outside which I loved ! There’s hummingbird feeders and little hummingbirds flying all around! We got there later after the restaurant nearby had closed, but the hotel has frozen pizza you can buy and cook there so we did that! The lady in the office was very nice and friendly and when she heard we were leaving super early she gave us some things for breakfast, I wanted to give them a 5. But……

“This is a great find... When you look at the outside it doesn't look like 5 stars...but if you are visiting the Great Sand Dunes this is the place to stay... Very nice staff ..A complete breakfast and a large well appointed room... Could not have been happier with our choice of the Dunes!!”

“Just camp somewhere, you will be better off. Staying here was disgusting, the ceiling was peeling off, the bathroom had little animals coming out of drainage. Bedroom sheets were staying not to mention the horrible smell of the room. This is not a 3 start hotel if you will even call it that. Stay away and save your money.”

“The toilet in our room was broken and wobbled. Multiple pictures were missing from the walls and the hooks were just hanging. There was no shampoo and if you wanted or needed your room made up, you had to request it the day before. We picked out a popsicle from their store for our daughter and they were all melted and refrozen blobs. The large water slide was closed, but the pool was open and water was warm & clean. The best way to describe the entire hotel was that it appeared to be in the……
