Lovely Cottage on Long Lake

Enjoy this clean and inviting cottage just steps from the 5000 acre ­all sports Long Lake!! Your stay includes a canoe and life jackets. Great for fishing or leisure. Clear shallow water perfect for swimming. A modern boat dock that juts into the lake. There is a boat launch just up the road. You can leave your boat parked at our dock during your stay with plenty of parking for your trailer. Spend the warm summer nights relaxing next to the fire pit, looking at the stars or grilling on the gas grill! The cottage can sleep 6 with the 2 bedrooms which both have full size beds and the sleeper sofa in the living room. You will have plenty of room to bring the whole family. The bathroom includes a bath/shower combo. This fully furnished getaway includes linens, towels, four fishing rods, smart TVs, WIFI, and a kitchen full of supplies and appliances!

Fall Hideaway for Fishing
Quaint, rustic and updated cabin with all the necessities to enjoy time by the waters of Long Lake. Plenty of room for parking the boat trailer. Water at the dock was shallow when we visited so we loaded and unloaded at the DNR Boat Ramp 3.5 miles to the west. Lots of opportunities in nearby Alpena and Lake Huron. Communication with the owner was easy and response time was immediate. Clean and well kept! Thank you Ryan!

My brother and I spent summer vacations at Long Lake as children/teens. This cottage and location is within a mile of our cottage. It was a comfortable and perfect place to spend the time, and it had everything we would need and want. The grounds and views are beautiful Communication with the host was easy and very accomodating.

Beautiful Lake
This lovely cabin was perfect for our few days away. The property was just as described and had everything we needed for a peaceful getaway. The huge lake was suprisingly quiet for a holiday weekend. We had perfect weather - so that was an added bonus. We ended up cooking most of our meals at the cabin because we didnt want to leave. However; if you have a chance to go to 808 bowlz in Alpena - do it! Delicious food!! The sunrises were spectacular! The moon put on a pretty good show for us as well. We would definitely rent again. Ryan was available if we needed anything. Fortunately we didnt need a thing!

Nice cottage, great location, good fishing!
Long Lake is only a few steps from the front door. Nice dock for our small fishing boat. Cottage was clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies and paperware. Great location to take day trips from-Lake Huron State Parks, Alpena attractions. Only small issue for us is the tiny low toilet in the bathroom. Tough on our knees trying to get on and off. We realize there is limited space in the small bathroom, but still! Excellent and timely communication from the owner.

Nice, Peaceful Stay on Long Lake
We had a very nice, peaceful stay the Lovely Cottage on Long Lake. Neighboring houses are close but we never saw anyone else. It felt like we had the cove all to ourselves. We were there on weekdays in August. The cottage was just like it was pictured and described in the listing. Although the home is older, it is well maintained and very clean. The exterior was recently painted and it looked like the windows were quite new as well as having an updated bathroom. There were plenty of kitchen gadgets, bowls, etc. The beds were comfortable. The pull-out couch was your typical pull-out. The Host was very attentive to any questions we had. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Beyond Expectations
We have been staying at different cottages on Long Lake for many years. This was without a doubt the nicest place we have rented. The amount of amenities and facilities are the most we have ever encountered. My son's and I fished for five days and were able to have fish dinners three nights. Ryan is looking at providing a filleting table. He is very easy to deal with, I was able to contact him whenever I had a question or need. He is very concerned that everyone has an enjoyable time. I would recommend this cottage to everyone. Unfortunately some of the items in the cottage had been removed by previous renters. Some people seem to think because they pay rent, then they are entitled to take anything they want.

Very Nice Cabin
Family had a wonderful stay with our young grandchildren. House was very clean and just the right size for our group. Everyone enjoyed walking right out on the dock to have breakfast. Beautiful location and very quiet neighborhood. Wish we would have booked the whole week instead of three nights.

Awesome Weekend Getaway!
This place was perfect for a girls getaway weekend. The view was amazing and the house was just right. Everything we needed for our stay to be perfect. Beds were comfortable too. Ryan was an amazing host to work with. I recommend this rental to anyone.

Just a nice northern cabin, clean, confortable, quiet and setting on the lake. Fabulous sun rise each morning. Very relaxing. Would recommed for a get-away weekend or a week long vacation. Neighbor was very friendly and once found with specific directions it was like you were in your own world. Ryan, the owner was very accommodating.

Perfect Lake Getaway
Perfect cottage to get away to. We enjoyed swimming and boating. The cabin is all redone and very clean. New furniture and Wi-Fi, tv. Kitchen is fully stocked. The dock was perfect for our boat. We had a wonderful vacation. Ryan the owner was very helpful and answered all are questions. Would definitely rent again.

Ryan was very nice and accommodating. The cottage was clean. Be advised that the cottage has no oven, but it does have a nice toaster oven and outdoor grill. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and enjoyed it and Long Lake very much.

2021 Alpena Vacation
My family and I vacationed here this past week. The cottage is absolutely beautiful. It was everything we wanted and more. Owner is great, available and ready to help if needed. Everything about this property is perfect. I highly recommend vacationing here if you’re planning an up north vacation. Love Long Lake too! 😍
