“Just what the doctor ordered! A quiet place for me to recuperate from surgery while my adult kids did their favorite Acadia hikes. And we finally got to the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse, less than 10 minutes away. The house was perfectly appointed, and I especially enjoyed sitting on the adirondack chairs on the rocks overlooking water, a very short walk away.”
