The room was very nice and clean. There was a lot of parking in the back. It was an easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. There are also lots of restaurants close to the place.

This place was excellent! We decided to spend an extra night in Boothbay on a whim and stumbled upon Topside. We loved it so much that we'll absolutely be back. Breakfast the next morning was such a treat. It felt luxurious without being pretentious—beautifully done, warm, and incredibly welcoming. It was the perfect way to end our stay, and we can't wait to return.

The location of this home is very misleading. Although if you search the exact location, you will find it’s in/near the forest but looking at the pics posted you would think it was near the beach and it is not. I could overlook that if the home was stocked with everything needed and beds were comfortable but that was not the case. We were given 5 bath towels for 4 people for 4days, 1 dish cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 dirty sponge with no washer or dryer and no dishwasher. Extra towels were dropped off once we called the owner but we didn’t ask for toilet paper and ran out of that as well. It just seemed like the bare minimum was done to make us comfortable. If you stay here just know you need to bring your own supplies unless you want to spend your vacation on the phone with the owners.
