“I was looking for a mountain retreat/getaway for my husband and I while I had work in the area and found this hideaway. It is very remote from town, fishing was great, and the cabin was spacious enough for us. We even had "Harry" the duck greet us. She was so entertaining. The dock straight out the back door and the upper screened porch was the highlight. Take the boat out too! Like others, the shower is workable.The only con for me was the Wifi. “Quiet retreat on 5 acres. My pup loved the freedom to chase a ball. Hosts are super nice and the pool is right outside the cottage door. After a series of negative personal experiences, this was "just what the Dr.Ordered." I can honestly say it is the nicest place I have stayed in for quite some time. ”

“Beautiful cabin. Very close to town yet secluded. No neighbors can be seen or heard from the cabin or its excellent second story deck. A short drive to Cades Cove, the best place to see bears in the continental United States. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. There was a local power outage at 5:30 am, having nothing to do with the property itself, I called the host, he immediately answered and then called the power company. “We were in Maryville with Daughter and Granddaughters before and while they went to Montvale Camp. Very close by and convenient. Accommodations were perfect for our needs. While they were at camp, we went to Cades Cove Stables for a Carriage Ride and on another day we drove into Gatlinburg to look at rentals for another TN trip. Elijah was very helpful. We had a nice dinner at Aubreys. We had groceries delivered from Kroger and we got best price on gas at Kroger fuel.”

“We were surprised that for a very high property fee. There was no ice no ice trays no coffee no amenities on the property at all. Also, GPS does not get you to the property. We had to download an app on our phone and in just reading the description of the property were able to get directions, however those were even wrong as it said to turn it to Phillips 66 gas station and it has been a gas station since 2018 ”
