“The hotel feels old and outdated. The breakfast was very minimal. We wanted to use the pool but after seeing the breakfast choices we had to go out to eat so did not have time to swim.”

“This property needs a serious overhaul. Additionally, the family that owns this property would be well served to stop using the hotel as their "family room" or play center. Very unprofessional.”

“The staff were the friendliest people and took care of our requests right away. The property was marginal at best. Breakfast was ok, I always appreciate Hotel Waffles but that was the high point, Eggs and sausage was warm almost cold. The bathroom was clean but when I got ready to,take a shower the hot water only lasted about 3 minutes before turning cold. The room keys worked 25% of the time nd I had to have them reload 3 times with a 50% success rate. The room was noisy with paper thin walls,……

“Been going there for our amnesty for 47 yrs - my husband passed a couple years ago but I’ve carried on the tradition as my yearly retreat - though I fear I won’t be able to because of the outrageous price increases The pool was closed which was a disappointment and the new restaurant is not pleasing with the modern design nor menu The staff couldn’t have been better!”

“The property is nice and the staff is excellent. The only complaint I have is that Expedia says there is a full size refrigerator and a microwave in the rooms. However there is only a half size refrigerator and no microwave. The staff at the hotel has told Expedia on numerous occasions, but they won’t change it in the description. Also, I was there Sunday through Wednesday and many things are only open Wednesday through Sunday, so I can’t speak on some of the onsite amenities.”

“What a cute motel -very clean and updated-large rooms, nice view of the water. Bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly! Having the River Crab restaurant right there was awesome. I totally will stay again. If your wondering about this place, wonder no more!!”
