“This hotel is not your typical all inclusive resort. The buffet option was not available every day. They have a menu that you can order from but it gets boring after a couple of days. The food quality is below average. Room service is for a fee. Too many restrictions for all inclusive hotel. The pool water was always cloudy morning and evening. “In Building 3000, there were Raccoon's in the ceiling. It was very disturbing & a nuisance during my stay. This was due to noise from the rodents, along with garbage/debris left on my deck. I would not return to this property.”

“Perfect spot on the quiet end of the beach. The rooms are simple but beautiful. We had an ocean view on the second floor, room 204. The large patio was a perfect spot to have breakfast and spend time listening to the waves. We booked last minute due to a nasty abnb and we couldn’t have gotten more lucky. Pool was great and everyone at the resort was very friendly. 10/10 would stay again as soon as possible.”

“We had an overall great stay at Cala Luna. Our villa was spacious and comfortable, the private pool was a huge hit with the kids, and the property was peaceful, beautiful, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was excellent. The location is quiet and relaxing, but getting into downtown Tamarindo can be a little inconvenient. “De la Playa was amazing. We had security at night to make us feel safe. We had access to its sister hotel right next door, the Tamarindo Diara. Both hotels were right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend this property, staff was amazing, you will not be disappointed, will be back soon”

“Nothing this hotel advertises in its description is accurate. There's only parking for two cars, the rooms are uncomfortable, the noise is so loud it's like there are no walls, the room smells bad, and the air conditioning only works in the lower part of the room, not in the bed area. The pool is the only slightly nice thing about it. I absolutely do not recommend it. If I had to highlight one thing, it would be the employee Oscar, who was very kind. His efforts are what convinced us to stay……
