“This hillside spot has sweeping ocean views and the kind of quiet that’s hard to find. We sipped wine each evening and had our coffee each morning on the patio while watching the distant waves crash along the rocky coast.
You’re far enough from downtown Carmel to actually decompress, yet close enough to walk. (Fair warning: the hills are real. Expect a steep incline both ways if you go on foot.)
