"The pool was such a hit for both the kids and the adults. Breakfast was scrumptious and coupled with the exceptional service from Ms. Rebecca we felt right at home and catered to. We would definitely stay here again if we ever in the area again."

"On the plus side, the staff was professional and polite, parking was just outside of my door and well lit, and the area was relatively quiet. It is safe. Unfortunately the room conditions weren't great. Saggy mattress, not particularly clean, and the shower didn't get hot. "

"I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Monterey Beach Hotel. I was initially assigned room 118, which was saturated with cigarette smoke. The odor was overwhelming and completely unacceptable, especially for a non-smoking property. After requesting a change, I was moved to room 126, which unfortunately was located next to a generator. The noise from the generator ran throughout the night and made it nearly impossible to sleep. As a result, I did not get any rest and left feeling exhausted and frustrated. A good night’s sleep is a basic expectation when staying at a hotel, and this experience fell far short. To make matters worse, the only compensation offered was a $50 parking fee waiver, which does not reflect the inconvenience and discomfort I experienced. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, and I hope the hotel takes steps to address both the room conditions and how guest concerns are handled in the future"
