The hotel has lots of plants and flowers, is easy to find, has convenient parking, is pet-friendly and has waterproof mats and sheets for pets. The room is small, exquisite, comfortable and cozy, and the bathroom is large and well-equipped. The bed is large and comfortable, and the room is very clean and tidy. The hotel has its own parking lot, which is convenient for walking to Carmel Beach and downtown. Free breakfast is provided, which is American breakfast with a wide variety. Coffee, tea and exquisite snacks are always prepared for guests! The staff is warm and thoughtful and provides patient help and travel guides! I came with my elderly mother and my lovely French bulldog, and the hotel was very considerate to arrange a room on the first floor for my elderly mother to enter and exit. Thank you very much! Everything about the environment was breathtaking and relaxing. However, I did feel that some of the staff in the cafeteria were not as friendly or welcoming toward us compared to how they treated other guests. It was disappointing and made us feel a bit uncomfortable. I can’t help but wonder if it had to do with us being Hispanic.
