The whole experience was terrible, we didnt stay. That place needs to be shut down until they clean it up. Mold on the tables, carpet was filthy, beds were horrible, stunk really bad, service was rude and so on.

Old historic motel in the heart of beautiful Cave Spring Georgia. This motel started out as a hospital with rooms added for patient families. The Timbers are at least two feet square and sits on the bank of Cave Creek. It’s a very short walk to the Cave Spring and the purest spring water in the state and COLD. Some of the best antique stores, restaurants and an ice cream parlor.

Dated, tired and not kept up well. Carpets should have been replaced a few years ago. Internet connection non-existent. The low price and polite staff made stay acceptable. I would not stay here again if nothing changed.

Extremely poor conditions. Cigarette burns on sheets furniture wall plugs coming off the walls bathroom floor colasping vent in bathroom had gloves packed in it. Photos were extremely old not showing true conditions people livi gg in the rooms. Needs to be torn down.

I honestly hate to give this review because they were such nice people but the room just wasn't suitable for the price, even though it's a cheaper hotel. Everything was really outdated and needs a remodel. Room smelled like chemicals, like nail polish remover or something. Carpet was scraps pieced together, though the carpet did look clean. We didn't stay and they did give us our refund and were very nice people. I hope they will be able to upgrade things. As we left they were saying they accidentally put us in the wrong room that hadn't been serviced yet but cleanliness wasn't the main issue, they just really need newer, more comfortable furniture and flooring, a fresh coat of paint maybe.

Room didn't appear to be too awfully dirty but the ceiling had been leaking at some point . The sheetrock had started falling around the makeshift closet

Very nice place to relax and enjoy small town. Next to park and a stream. Good Mexican restaurant near by. Friendly staff. Good cable lineup. Small kitchenette. Cozy room.

Worn out and old
Everything about the motel was old and run down. Stains on the carpet, chairs , bedspread. The towels literally left lint all over us. Fridge and microwave were unplugged upon arrival, but did work once plugged in.Less than half a roll of toilet tissue in bathroom. NO SMOKE DETECTOR! The TV never worked, searched for signal all night. Luckily the sheets were clean. We were attending a local bike rally which offered primative camping, and this was at least a step up from that. Cave Springs is a lovely town and I had the best steak ever at Linda Marie's! If you just need a place to sleep, this is just that. Staff seemed not to know we had booked online and charged a $5 key deposit.

Awful!
The room was awful! There was half a roll of toilet paper, the sheets were dirty and stained, the bathroom was nasty. It looked like the room had not been cleaned in weeks. Disgusting.

Nightmare in Cave Springs
This was our second visit to this property. Not by choice but out of necessity, as it is the only hotel near the venue we were showing at. This hotel has enormous potential however, it is very run down. The curtains were so old they had holes in them. There was only 1 working light bulb in the living space. There was 1 bath towel bugs crawling and spider webs in the bathroom. The pillows were stained and worn. The carpet was filthy. We will either go to the next town or camp next year. If I had to stay there again I would bring cleaning supplies and my own linens. There was also an open junction box with live wires.

Payed for a king bed and got a queen size was suppose to be a non smoking room and all you could smell was the stinch of nasty musty old smoke smell and we spent most of our time killing roaches and making sure our things didn't have roaches in it and the bed sheets had hairs and what looked like blood stains this was just an awful hotel and if I could have gotten my money back I would have and stayed elsewhere.Never again will I ever stay there again.

DearGuest, I apolize for inconvenience stay in my motel. When all king bed are occupied , then we offer queen bed.We request the guest not to smoke in non- smoking room, but it is sorry to say that ,In non-smoking room some guest smoke in room, rest room too. We do not use the bed sheet having blood stain.Some guest eat in bed & after washing sheet stain color become yellow, black,red even after using stain remover detergent.In my motel some guest stay long time & they have too much stuff, luggage with them which lead to roaches.We do regular pest control treatment too. Now we request to notify our valued Dear Guest whenever they experience any wrong thing, inconvenience during stay in my motel please.

stayed for 2 nights. wasn't bad.wouldn't go there for a week or more. TV sucked! couldn't figure out how to work it with 2 controls. couldn't find regular stations. no continental breakfast as advertised. you could tell they have been updating the place. not bad place to sleep.

AWFUL HOTEL
THIS HOTEL WAS EVERYTHING A PREVIOUS TRAVELER EXPERIENCED! TOWELS AND WASHCLOTHS WERE AS THROUGH SOMEONE WAS WORKING ON A CAR! WE WENT FISHING SO IT WAS CLOSE TO OUR PLANS YET I WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! PLENTY OF POTENTIAL. OLD MUSTY YET DAMP YET JUST SIMPLY PUT RUN DOWN!!!!! WARNING DON'T STAY HERE.

Stay Away From This Place!!!
When I pulled into the parking lot I had my doubts but I thought I should give it a chance. The clerk was friendly,but was a little off. He gave me the room key(an actual key not a key card) I went to unlock the door to the room but it wasn't locked. The room smelled strange,the bedding was stained,& the pillows had strands of hair still on them. That was all it took for me to find a room else where! I found a room at Americas Best Value Inn in Rome,Ga.(used expedia for that room too). I returned the key received my refund & left. The pictures made it look better than it was.

Not worth the price you pay.
Price is to much for the condition of this hotel. Looks cheap and looks not its not well maintained. I can go to another hotel and pay less for a room way nicer and those hotels look well maintained. Newer appliances, flat screen tv, etc. As this one did not. Plus towels had black stains on them. It was a smoking room though, but smoking rooms I have seen looked way better than this one. Plus they didn't have shampoo or body wash like other hotels do.

the hotel was cute, it was clean and the man who ran the place was very nice and pleasant, my only complaint was the other guest were quite loud til about midnight.
