“A wonderful, spacious house with a great bath tub. It is very quiet and peaceful, but also easy to walk into town for everything available there. A good launching point for hiking in the area and visiting other cool spots like Marshall. A great spot that we hope to visit again!”

“The Trapper Shack was perfect! Secluded and absolutely stunning. The views were gorgeous. We enjoyed taking the dog for walks. We visited the ponds and then the barn Loved seeing all the animals. Wish I would have remembered to bring treats. The roads were fun in the jeep. It was only 20 minutes to Bristol Raceway. Will definitely stay again.”

“Clean, comfortable and exactly as described. We would definitely stay here again!! The entire stay was relaxing and hassle free.”

“Great off the grid stay! The cabin was stocked with more than enough supplies to make your stay easy and comfortable. Us and our dogs had an amazing time. ”

“We had a nice long weekend for the American 250! Close to several towns to do things during the day, off the beaten path for quiet and peaceful relaxation. Two small ponds with a steady waterfall overflow that made the most peaceful sound to just relax and unwind. Large place with plenty of sleeping spots. Your family will enjoy!”

“The house was perfect. It was very clean and had all the amenities that one can think of and or need. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The views were amazing. The host was super communicative and accessible throughout the stay.”

“Very clean and well maintained. Only stayed one night but it was perfect for me and my wife while spending a weekend in Asheville. Check in process was a breeze. Very steep gravel driveway. My Front wheel drive SUV couldn’t do it so we had to park a little way away from the house (no big deal). Overall very nice stay. ”
