“Very lovely remote cabin in the woods. We were there because of the fall colors and photographing waterfalls. We were about 9 miles to the nearest town, Mellen, WI. And there was a gas station and grocery/hardware/liquor store in Mellen. The place was very clean. We always do our own cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of room for the two of us. “We rented this for a family long weekend. There were 6 adults and 4 kids. The lake is a little weedy but the water is clear and the kids loved fishing off of the deck. We used the kayaks provided and enjoyed the lake immensely. We didn't see another boat the whole time we were there. The weather was a little cool so we didn't get to use the beautiful screen porch as much as we hoped. We loved the cabin. ”
