“Lake Grindstone is a beautiful lake. I kayaked and played off the dock with my Welsh Terrier. That said, the cabin doesn’t make a good first impression as the deck is dirty and in need of a blowing off. The deck would not be safe for small children as there are gaps in the spindles. Could crawl and fall 8-10 feet. Couldn’t close the screen on the deck door off the LR; but was able to get it on the track using a butter knife. Satellite TV didn’t work. Nice kitchen and living space. Host contact...

“Had a really nice stay, the cabin is super cute, clean, and had everything we needed. The fireplace was great, it kicked out the heat and made the cabin cozy. Was also a great location, had a superb lake view with amazing sunrise/sunset views, was also not too far from Cable so all weekend activities were easy to get to. I’d definitely stay there again.”

“Cabin was clean and had the basics. No frills. Thought it would be in and around trees, but it was right out in the open trailer park area. TV was an issue. Was told no Internet, but didn't find that we had Paramount Plus until last morning. We brought our Fire Stick so git done options. Very small shower and beds were not very comfortable. Overall it was more stly what we needed. Thanks”

“We loved the cabin: clean, new comfy furniture, lots of storage, a/c worked great, loved the woods, close to town! We were a bit disappointed that you cannot see the lake from the cabin and that there was another property and a road in between the cabin & the lake. The separate lakefront portion of their land was great, loved the picnic table and shed down there! Not really swimmable from the short dock but there were a couple of sand bars in the lake that we took the boat to and swam off of!...

“This was our second time visiting this property during winter and this cabin was exceptional as well as the property. Due to the warmer temperatures this year, we were able to have a winter fire in the firepit by the lake. Also, we saw no less than twenty beautiful elk and deer this year. Truly a memorable winter stay.”

“This was a great place to stay for a group of friends. The game room and bar area was a lot of fun. The property manager responded very quickly and was easy to work with. My only critique is that the kitchen area could use a bit of filling out, with effectively no consumables or spices available and an odd scattering of kitchen tools/pans, with heavy wear.”
