Winter Vacations from $752

The staff were friendly. No problem with them at all. The place is a weekly facility. I ended up paying over $1,000.00 for a 2wk stay through Expedia when I could have paid just $600.00 had I know it WAS a weekly. There was no housekeeping. I ended up washing my towels and cleaning the toilet. When I told friends and family where I was staying, they laughed at me and each one asked the same thing, “Why are you staying there? Going to hang out at the strip clubs?” These people grew up near that area. They partied there as teenagers. They’re in the 60s, now. It hasn’t changed a bit since they were kids. The REAL kick in the gut was the unnecessary money I spent. $400.00 down the drain! Also, the parking sucked! Instead of parking straight, cars, for some dumb reason, parked at an angle. Not one time was I able to park by my room.

Everyone was great

My disappointment in my stay at this property is my own fault I guess. Who chooses to stay at a ski resort in July?!?! But we were in Ashland for a meeting and Whitecap Mountain Resort was the the closest hotel that allows dogs. Check in was delayed because no one was at the desk. The facility itself is not updated and is fairly clean, but smelled musty. Same for the room. Musty and old. There was a stand to hold ski equipment, but no hairdryer in the bathroom. This property is remote…nothing else is nearby. Be prepared for that.
