“Easy check-in. Clean cabin. Excellent communication with the host.”

“Awesome stay at the 50s style caboose in Buffalo Creek! Immaculate inside! We enjoyed the farm and animals and our puppy did even more. We were allowed to check in early which maximized our adventure there. Would visit again in a heartbeat!”

“A unique & wonderful experience of staying in a glass cabin high in the mountains! Private hot tub & fire table! Very nice cabin, limited kitchen but enough to make simple meals. Very clean & host/staff helpful & friendly. Just be aware if you go in October (to see the beautiful leaves changing), the Asian lady beetles may swarm you outside in the sun! Thousands of them- we couldn’t use the deck for most of the day. Otherwise, highly recommend this !”

“Who doesn't love staying a few nights in a cute, tiny bright orange caboose complete with an amazing view of bison?!?! We all loved watching the herd pass throughout the day and evening grazing, playing, butting heads and resting. Great place to explore and walk around visiting other farm animals. Cheryl, her brother, and the staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs and helped to plan extra activities like horseback riding and ranch hand, which my 13 year old granddaughter loved. ...

“Great experience”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buffalo creek as a base camp after exploring the Smokies! Being welcomed into a new day listening to birdsong with our coffee and being bid safe travels each day by the bison herd was truly magical. We enjoyed listening to the rain on the Tin roof and appreciating everything that Buffalo creek offered to help us reconnect as a couple.”

“We really enjoyed our time at Dogwood! Took the dog on a hike up the mountain road and saw lots of wildflowers and butterflies. The cabin was very comfortable and decorated with care. Very clean! Loved the skylights, too.”

“Loved this place! So quiet and peaceful and the buffaloes were amazing!!”

“Absolutely loved staying at Bison Overlook Lodge! The peacefulness at the ranch was amazing! The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of things to do there when it rained. We also loved feeding the goats as their area was right beside the cabin. Other towns were just a short drive away when needed. The vacation we definitely needed!!!I did not want to leave. The 209 Cafe, which was a short distance from here, had awesome food!!!”

“It was fun going up the hill to get to the property. Bring your 4x4. The morning views of the mountains and the fog in all the valleys were breathtaking. The house ”

“My family spent an amazing two weeks at Bison Escape. We loved it so much that we immediately booked it for the same two weeks next year before we even left.”

“We were 2 families with 3 girls (ages 9, 10, and 12) and we all had a wonderful time! The kids just absolutely loved running around the place, feeding the animals, playing with the dogs; playing at the playground, and playing tetherball! They were “ranch hands” in the mornings and loved it. We had fires in the outdoor pit, and we could see the bison from there. We had fires inside in the fireplace too (fireplace was upstairs for some reason, instead of in the main floor living room, but, we...
