“The rooms were so bad that I did not stay and the people at the front desk would not refund my money. The rooms that I looked at smelled like mildew and smoke. The first room that I looked at, had water dripping from the supply line at the toilet. I did not spend the night at this property and I would not recommend anybody else stay at this property.”

“Just outside of the downtown area, was a nice place for the space we needed. We enjoyed our stay!”

“Great location quiet and lovely place. Host was wonderful and very helpful. However, improves such as new bath tub, extra lighting, and new back door knob with new locks are needed. The cottage has bugs and ants and needs an exterminator. 3 stars overall.”

“I loved the way thee wooded back yard. The fast response of the owner. The price was amazing.”

“Could use better more comfort living room furniture and some place to set luggage”

“Cute homey apartment that had everything I needed and was a quick drive or uber ride to campus to meet with my son at UTK. I plan to stay again as our son navigates the next four years. Loved having K brew and a smoothie bowl place close. I also ran and felt perfectly safe. Recommend, if you are looking for a place north of campus.”

“Very cute space, host was very communicative and my experience was great overall. Great location as well!”

“Very nice spot, a bit noisy on bar nights and with the train tracks next door. Was not an issue for us. The second bed in the common area is a pull down Murphy bed, which was very comfortable and much better than a typical sofa bed. I slept well!”

“David's an excellent host and his place is great. I'm reluctant to tell too many people because I feel like it's a hidden gem. I brought my 10-year-old kid to Knoxville for the first time and we used David's place as basecamp for East TN adventures. Would also be good for a couple with or without a kid or two (maybe more than 2 kids if you're good with coziness)David's place is perfectly located for all the best of the Old City / Market Square / Downtown / Tenn or Bijou Theatres. Everything is……

“Cute and quaint home. Suited our needs for a quick 2 night trip. The grass needed to be cut in the front of the tiny home and around the back of home for pups to potty. ”
