“La chambre exécutive pour laquelle j’ai payée ne ressemblait nullement à la description donnée par l’hôtel; aucun balcon, un frigo à vin ne permettant pas de mettre ma nourriture et sans congélateur pour y ranger les « ice pac », absence de cafetier, une seule débarbouillette pour deux personnes, absence de support à bagages, et de meubles pour suspendre le linge, porte de salle de bain qui ne ferme pas… Il nous a été impossible de rencontrer le personnel, ni le soir à notre arrivée, le le matin……

“Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is a hidden sanctuary. We hit the jackpot when we were searching for accommodation in the area to attend a wedding. Its location is nothing short of spectacular and the 360 views are breathtaking. Hosts Craig and Paul were so warm and welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Our room had such a comfortable bed with everything we needed and many more extras. The deck was made for unwinding with a daybed and hammock inviting you to linger and……

“Choosing to stay here you need to keep in mind that it is a 2 star hostel so you can't expect bells and whistles. You have to manage your expectations. That being said me and my partner found this to be the perfect base for our Byron Bay stay. We stayed in a private cube double room and to be honest it's everything we needed. We've stayed in 5 star hotels before and I can honestly say the bed in this hostel was one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in! We had a fridge to store food and drink……

“It was fantastic, excellent communication, flawless keyless check-in and entry. Absolutely so clean. Shower water pressure was amazing. Room small, but tasteful and everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Shower was big. Netflix, Wifi all good. Great BBQ area. Definitely would stay again. ”
