It was very hot outside while we were there ( between 92-95 degrees every day but the AC kept up great and I was thankful for that! They have put a lot of wonderful touches and finishes on this cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the son porch that overlooked the river. We also loved the fire pit in the evenings. “Beautiful property and super clean. The house is surrounded by trees, prairie grasses, and a farm field in the back so it’s really secluded and peaceful. Communication with the host was easy, friendly, and super clear. The hosts left a binder with a ton of helpful information in it. “We loved staying in the tree house. We came with our twin 19 year old daughters and while it was small there was plenty of room and beds were very comfortable. I think the expectation should be camping with very dry, comfortable enclosure air conditioned, heated and indoor plumbing! ”

“We had the best time at the Treehouse! Its close to all the major trails (Garden of the Gods is literally down the street as is Rim Rock and Pounds Hollow). The Treehouse is the perfect size, was spotlessly clean and the hot tub was the best way to finish off a day of hiking. The group managing these properties does a great job with check in, check out and also checking up on you during your stay. Highly recommend if you're wanting to explore the Shawnee area!”
