“Lovely and calm boutique hotel in the outskirts of Sisteron. Such a little gem of a place, old houses beautifully redecorated with a stunning patio area and a mountain backdrop. We arrived late in the evening but the owner still arranged for an apéro dînatoire for us. Can highly recommend the hotel. ”

“The reception area is on the first floor, accessed by a long staircase (no lift). Our room was on the second floor, up another two flights of stairs, one of which has uneven steps. The room was very stylish but not very practical. Very little storage space and no air conditioning.”

Ilse & Peter immediately made us feel at home and the fact that I could speak in my very foreign Afrikaans language, and they understood me, made it even more special! It's a great place to stay over, or perhaps to have a holiday (which I will do sometime with the family). The location is spectacular, in a pine forest and super relaxing and away from everything. I can attest to the fact that this is definitely a bikers' venue.……

“Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests. Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely. Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus. The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting”
