"The hotel is situated at a spectacular place, almost in the middle of nowhere. The building and rooms are well kept and nicely decorated. The building is really interesting with stone walls and stairs and many levels and passageways.
Drawback is the check-in time, be aware if you arrive late and contact the owner in advance."

"A delightful place to stay! The rooms are well doctorates, incredibly clean and have fab aircon. In a quiet area but walking distance to little cafes and shops. Check in was easy and plenty of parking."

"Easy parking outside in parade of shops. Close to nature walk and lake - restaurants nearby were not open (Wednesday) so we walked for 30 mins to nearby town Vollonne for evening meal."

"While the room had a toilet, seems it was not ensuite. Had to walk down the corridor to access the toilet. Bed was uncomfortable and would have liked an electric kettle to make tea. Hotel however is a good location."

"First of all, the hosts - Veronique and Jerome were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and I got to practice my French a bit too! Breakfast was very nice with local produce every morning. They also gave us lots of advice about where to go. The pool was lovely and cool with a great view. The air con worked very nicely in our room. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Wonderful place to stay in Digne. The property is excellent and the staff truly outstanding in terms of care and attention. The amenities are great for couples and families alike. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant, and liked the overall commitment to sustainability.

We are very grateful for the warm and kindest hospitality. They made us feel at home and welcomed. The property is so beautiful and the details of the architecture and interior design are well-thought out. The views are serene and therapeutic, we even saw deers through our windows. We drove here and can’t imagine how one would get here without a vehicle as it is quite remote. With the remoteness, comes privacy :) we love this place very much. Breakfast is included also. Great little hotel with a nice breakfast. The only bad thing was that it was located in a commercial part of town so there were not any restaurants for dinner. The owners were lovely and very helpful when we needed help or asked questions. The breakfast was really good and the owners were very kind. I would recommend if you don’t mind driving a bit to find dinner

This is a rustic property that made us feel as if we were taking a srep back in time - in a good way! Don't expect fancy, but the property was clean, lighting was good, the bed is good as long as you like firm and no fuss (worked for us). Proximity to Moustiers Saint Marie (perhaps our favorite village in Provence), as well as to the Verdon gorge, could hardly be better.

The hotel is well located if you are travelling around the countryside. Close to many bigger cities for touing, but quiet countryside hotel to come back to. Excellent breakfast and dinner.

The place is nice and quiet. It is not an hotel and could be describe as a cottage or guesthouse. There is no housekeeping during the stay. Most the amenities ( pools, restaurants) described are part of the "hotel de l'ermitage" which is accessible from "les jardins de l'ermitage" if you can walk down a stair and unpaved path down a hill about 100 yards which my 87 year old father couldn't do.
The outdoor pool was still closed even if we stay beginning of Mai. The indoor pool part of the SPA...

It was a quaint hotel in a very quiet little village. Great location if your doing the Verdon gorge or surrounding area. Management was helpful and rooms are pretty good size. Parking lot at edge of town.
