“Although the place was under renovation upstairs when we visited I didn’t reflect that in my review. The house was located so close to Forsyth park and we were able to walk around historic Savannah with no difficulty. Abigail the manager of the bed and breakfast did a great job with breakfast, waters upon arrival, giving us a map of the are and even a happy hour of wine and cheese from 4-5 pm. She was pleasant to talk with and ver helpful. I would love to stay here again when there was no……
“This is our third time staying at the Marshall House, but found out it is now under new ownership. We sincerely hope the standards will remain the same or even improve. There was a miscommunication in housekeeping/Maid service, but Martha (front desk) went above and beyond to rectify the situation and personally came up and cleaned our room after hours. She was very accommodating and redeemed our appreciation for the hotel. We were disappointed at the cheese and wine reception at night since……
“It is a beautiful small B&B. Nicole was lovely and everything was clean and well decorated. My only complaint would be the lack of an innkeeper to greet us. It felt sterile and disconnected when we arrived. Would have been nice to be able to ask questions about the area and house. They don't have to sleep there..but be on property for a few hours for check in. In our automated society the human touch cannot be replaced.”
“Execellent place to stay with the space and feel of a very nice apartment. Very short drive or an extended walk from downtown Savannah. Reserved parking is both a luxury for Savannah and a bit tricky. Our space was tight and way too close to a large concrete pillar. However, it appeared to be the only space with that problem. Otherwise, this was a surprising find, offering a sizeable kitchen and plenty of room. I would happily stay again.”
“Location Wes great, bar and restaurant on site was great as well. We were not provided the internet code and hydration station was out of water one day.”
