“We enjoyed our overnight at Lamie's. We stayed in the older section and the brick wall and 4 poster beds added a homey, authentic feel to the vibe of the Old Salt Tavern next door. Beds comfortable, room clean. The rooms & bathroom are a little small but perfect if your plan doesn;t include spending lots of time in your room. We came to visit friends in the area and had lunch and dinner at the Old Salt which was really convenient to just come downstairs rather than having to drive somewhere……

“The room was clean, but the staff was not very informative regarding reservations and closures. Restaurant closed after making reservations and having to wait for breakfast as a paying guest along with patrons off the street is not satisfactory.”

We loved the fact that Paula and Michelle jumped right in on any questions we had or help we needed- maybe not be so forward with the tip envelope I mean if guests stay more then one nite then they should tip house keeping however a one nite stay which is not even 24 hours shouldn’t be pushed into the tip envelope .”

“The location is fantastic. It is dog friendly which is wonderful. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking for each room. It met my 1 overnight need but what I thought could be better are room cleanliness - it was dusty and had funky smell (maybe from the a/c), bathroom was very clean, it’s a very simple basic room with no thrills. TV is ridiculously small, but honestly I wasn’t there for that. Over I gave it 3 stars because of the lack of room cleanliness, funky smell &……
