a charming cottage in a highly convenient location
the cottage is well equipped with a comfortable bed , good bathroom and comfortable lounge. The kitchen is well equipped and convenient. The hosts were kind and very helpful with local suggestions. The house is ideally suited for visits to Strasbourg ,Colmar, Freiburg and other nearby towns . The house has a delightful garden which is easily accessed.

Business Traveler
The cottage was wonderful. I am a business traveler that pretty much lives out of hotels during the year. It was wonderful staying at the cottage. Anke has spent a lot of time and effort in decorating and setting up the cottage for travelers. Everything you could possibly need or think you will need is already in the cottage. It was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The view is spectacular. Anke and her husband, Eric, make you feel like family. I had a wonderful and very tasty lunch with them one day while staying in the cottage. They both provided lots of very good ideas of activities to do in the area and recommended restaurants. If you are ever visiting the Alsace region of France I would highly recommend staying at the cottage. I can't wait to go back to visit and take my wife.

My wife and I stayed at this property for a weekend to take a break in the middle of our campervan holiday (July 2022). The hosts are very friendly and multi-lingual. The cottage itself is terrific with everything you need for a relaxing time. There are great views out of the windows and nice walks around the local village and environs. We drove to the local railway station on the Saturday and had a day in Strasbourg which ended up being one of the highlights of our entire three week trip. I would recommend this holiday cottage to anyone.

Gezellige, rustige uitvalsbasis voor de Elzas
Wat een fijne plek om de Elzas te verkennen. Rustig gelegen, van alle gemakken voorzien en met een heel vriendelijke host. Ook zijn er in de woning veel boekjes en informatiebrochures voorzien. Het terras is perfect voor zonnige ochtenden

Schöner Elsass!
Ein wunderschönes kleines Cottage mit liebevoller Einrichtung war genau die richtige Herberge für einen zweisamen Urlaub im Elsass, den wir sehr genossen haben. Die freundlichen Gastgeber stehen für Fragen offen, touristisches Infomaterial hat Anke bereitgelegt und eine Wanderkarte durften wir uns ausleihen. In der kleinen Küche ließ sich sehr gut kochen dank der guten Ausstattung. Weiterhin alles Gute!

Schönes, gemütliches Chalet in ruhiger Umgebung
Wir waren zu zweit vier Nächte in der Unterkunft und hatten mit Schlafzimmer, kleiner Küchen-und Essecke sowie dem gemütlich eingerichteten Wohnzimmer ausreichend Platz um zur Ruhe zukommen und zu entspannen. Die Kommunikation mit Anke war super - wir waren über Silvester dort und es war für Anke kein Problem, dass wir abends Freunde zu Besuch empfingen. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Anke en Eric zijn hele aardige, sociale en hulpvaardige gastvrouw/heer. Het huisje is bestemd voor de liefhebber : basic en compact. Niveauverschil naar huisje en in de tuin dus je moet goed ter been zijn. Bezoek aan Obernay, Strassbourg en concentratiekamp Struthof is aanbevelenswaardig.

A perfect stay
It was as much could be expected of a holiday-appartement and more. The living space is as lovely as depicted in the pictures. There are even fresh cut flowers. The garden is almost like a private little park and heavenly. And Anke is as lovely as can be.

Traumhäuschen in traumhaftem Garten
Das kleine Ferienhäuschen von Anke und Eric befindet sich auf deren Grundstück direkt neben deren eigenem Haus. So war immer, wenn gewünscht, ein schneller, sehr herzlicher Kontakt möglich. Das Häuschen ist sehr geschmackvoll, unglaublich kreativ und total charmant und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles war einwandfrei sauber. Überall waren kleine Willkommensgrüße wie Blumensträußchen oder eine handgemachte Kräuterseife, was noch dazu beigetragen hat, dass wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, sogar mit Wok :-) ! Der Garten ist eine Wucht, total romantisch im englischen Stil. Überall sind versteckte Sitzplätze und für die Gäste steht eine große Holzterrasse zur freien und alleinigen Nutzung zur Verfügung- ebenfalls gemütlich mit Kübeln und Liegestühlen ausgestattet. Anke und Eric sind sehr humorvolle, unkomplizierte Vermieter mit denen wir viel gelacht und uns oft angeregt unterhalten haben. In der Umgebung sind vielfältige Unternehmungen, wie Wanderungen zu unterschiedlichsten Burgen, Ruinen und Wasserfällen möglich. Strassburg ist schnell erreichbar und für kulturinteressierte gibt es zusätzlich üppig romanische und gotische Kirchen, sowie einige sehr interessante Museen, wie z.B. die Humanistische Bibliothek. Danke Anke und Eric für eure tolle Gastfreundschaft und einen wundervollen Urlaub!!

Rustige locatie sfeervol ingericht
Een goed verblijf met aardige eigenaren die goed engels spreken. Je hoort de weg in de verte wel maar geen last daarvan gehad. Mooi uitzicht vanuit de huiskamer en diverse zitjes in de tuin. Heerlijk verblijf.

Très agréable séjour
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour! Le chalet est bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Le jardin alentour est splendide. L'hôtesse était disponible et attentionnée, très chaleureuse dans les échanges tant par mails, avant le séjour, que pendant. Alentours, il y a aussi beaucoup de lieux touristiques intéressants à visiter. Et des restaurants sympas où manger. Nous recommandons donc ce gîte à tous ceux qui chercheraient un pied à terre accueillant en Alsace!
